    Made To Speak

Why did the God who speaks create us with the ability to speak? In Made to Speak, Pastor Ray Hintz continues our Words Create Worlds series by looking at what Genesis teaches us about being made in God's image, the world we've been given to cultivate, and the voice God has entrusted to each of us. Genesis tells us that humanity was created in the image of God and given a meaningful role in His world. We were made to represent Him, and because God is a God who speaks, our words are part of that calling. They can bring dignity or tear it down, create clarity or confusion, and point people toward hope and healing. In this message, you'll discover how to: ✅ See every person as someone created in the image of God ✅ Recognize the influence your words have on the world around you ✅ Use your words to cultivate life in your home, relationships, and workplace ✅ Understand why God has given your voice purpose ✅ Speak with grace in ways that help people feel seen, valued, and encouraged God has placed each of us somewhere to cultivate, and words are one of the tools He's given us to do it. We can't control every atmosphere, but we can decide what our words bring into it. You don't need a microphone or a platform for your voice to matter. Sometimes a simple word of welcome, encouragement, gratitude, or grace can open a door in someone's life. You were made to speak. God has given you a voice. Use it to carry His grace, speak life, build others up, and help create a world where someone else has room to encounter Jesus. In The Beginning

What happens when God speaks into darkness and chaos? In In the Beginning, Pastor Ray Hintz kicks off our new series, Words Create Worlds, by returning to the opening words of Genesis and discovering what creation reveals about the power of God's Word. Genesis doesn't begin with us. It begins with God. Before Adam, Eve, the serpent, fear, shame, or sin ever had anything to say, God speaks first. And when God speaks, things change. His Word brings light into darkness, order out of chaos, and life where there was emptiness. In this message, you'll discover how to: ✅ Let God's Word speak louder than the other voices in your life ✅ Recognize the life-giving power of what God has spoken ✅ Allow God's Word to shape the words you speak to others ✅ Trust God to bring light into places that feel dark or chaotic ✅ Remember that darkness never gets the final word Genesis 1 begins with God speaking light into darkness, but the story ultimately leads us to Jesus. John tells us that Jesus is the Word who became flesh and the Light that shines in the darkness. He entered our broken world, defeated sin and death, and offers a life that darkness cannot overcome. Whatever season you're walking through, don't confuse darkness with abandonment. The first word belongs to God, and the final word belongs to God. The light still shines in the darkness, and the darkness cannot overcome it .Key Scriptures: Genesis 1:1–3, Psalm 33:6–9, Psalm 90:2, Colossians 3:16, John 1:1–5, John 1:14, John 8:12 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe for more messages from Abundant Life Church in Wilmington, MA. In It Together - Abundant Life Church 70th Anniversary Celebration

What does it look like to honor where God has brought us while making room for where He is leading us next? In today's message, In It Together, Pastor Ray Hintz celebrates the 70th anniversary of Abundant Life Church, looks back on seven decades of God's faithfulness, and challenges us to carry that legacy forward for generations to come. Seventy years ago, a group of people gathered for the first service of Abundant Life, believing God could do something in their community. They couldn't see the people who would come to faith, the families that would be impacted, or the generations that would follow. They simply took the next faithful step God placed in front of them. In this message, you'll be encouraged to: ✅ Celebrate God's faithfulness while believing He's not finished yet ✅ Honor the generations whose prayer, generosity, and service made room for us ✅ Carry our faith forward to the next generation ✅ Build genuine community where people can know and be known ✅ Pray, invite, serve, and make room for people who haven't found Jesus yet We aren't here simply to preserve a legacy. We're here to carry it forward. We want to be a church where people are still finding Jesus, families are finding hope and healing, children are learning to worship, and new stories of God's grace are being written. The people who began this church made room for us before they knew our names. Now it's our privilege to make room for others. As long as there are empty chairs, may we keep praying, believing, inviting, and fighting for people who need the hope and healing of Jesus. 5x5 - What Is God Teaching You? - 5 Communicators. 5 Minutes Each. One Amazing Sunday.

What happens when five different people share what God has been speaking to their hearts? In this special Sunday at Abundant Life Church, five communicators each had five minutes to share a message God has been teaching them. Different voices, different stories, and different Scriptures, but each one points us toward what it looks like to trust God and live out our faith in everyday life. James Ward shares from the story of Exodus and reminds us that seasons of life can sometimes feel like wandering through the wilderness. Even when we don't know what's next, God is still present, still guiding us, and still leading us toward His promises. Crystal Thomas shares about Kingdom Parenting Starts With Surrender, challenging parents to move from fear to faith. Our children are ultimately God's, and parenting with wisdom means faithfully preparing them while trusting God with what we cannot control. Matt Lemos challenges us to stop measuring our lives by someone else's results. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 3, he reminds us that God's standard isn't production; it's faithfulness. We plant, we water, and remain faithful with what God has given us, but ultimately God is the One who brings the growth. Chris Ducharme shares what it means to live as a witness for Jesus wherever God has placed us. Sometimes sharing our faith isn't about having the perfect words. It's about recognizing the person God has put in front of us, living differently, and being willing to speak when God opens the door. Kayleigh Hardin shares from Hebrews 11–12 about fixing our eyes on Jesus and recognizing the opportunities God gives ordinary people to make an eternal difference. Every interaction can become an opportunity to point someone toward Jesus when we intentionally live with our eyes fixed on Him. 5 communicators. 5 minutes each. One amazing Sunday. God is at work in every generation and every person who is willing to listen, trust Him, and faithfully respond to what He's asking them to do. Key Scriptures: Exodus, John 14:2, Exodus 2, Psalm 127:3, 1 Corinthians 3:5–7, 1 Peter 2:12, Hebrews 11–12, Matthew 5:16 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe for more messages from Abundant Life Church in Wilmington, MA. Wisdom For Everyday Decisions

How do you make wise decisions when you genuinely don't know what to do? In Wisdom for Everyday Decisions, Pastor Ray Hintz wraps up our Proverbs: Walking in Wisdom series by exploring one of the Bible's most familiar promises: trust God with all your heart, acknowledge Him in every area of your life, and He will direct your path. Drawing from Proverbs 3:5–6, this message reminds us that biblical wisdom isn't a formula for always knowing the right answer. It's learning where to place our trust when the answer isn't clear. Rather than relying solely on our own understanding, God invites us to surrender our plans, bring Him every part of our lives, and trust Him with the next step. In this message, you'll discover how to: ✅ Trust God's wisdom more than your own understanding ✅ Recognize the blind spots that can influence your decisions ✅ Invite God into every area of your life, not just the "spiritual" ones ✅ Make plans while holding them with open hands ✅ Trust God for the next step even when you can't see the whole path God doesn't always illuminate the entire road ahead. Often, He gives us enough light for the next step. Whether you're facing a major life decision, walking through a season you never would have chosen, or simply trying to faithfully navigate everyday life, you can trust the God who sees further down the road than you do. You may not be able to see the whole path, but by God's grace and through the power of the Holy Spirit, you can trust Him with your next step. Key Scriptures: Proverbs 3:5–6, Proverbs 14:12, James 1:5, Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 16:9 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe as we continue growing together in Christ. Parenting With Wisdom

How do we raise kids with wisdom in a world we cannot fully protect them from? In Parenting With Wisdom, Pastor Ray Hintz continues our Proverbs: Walking in Wisdom series by exploring how parents can give their children a foundation of faith that will continue speaking long after they are old enough to make their own decisions. Drawing from Proverbs 4, this message reminds us that wise parenting isn't about producing perfect kids or having every answer. It's about faithfully passing on God's wisdom, modeling an authentic relationship with Jesus, and trusting God with the parts of our children's stories we cannot control. And whether you're a parent, grandparent, teacher, leader, or simply someone with influence, we all have an opportunity to receive God's wisdom, live it, and give it away. In this message, you'll discover how to: ✅ Give your children more than rules by helping them understand the wisdom behind them ✅ Model an authentic faith your children can see in everyday life ✅ Correct with love, grace, and hope instead of anger or control ✅ Build a spiritual foundation your children can carry into adulthood ✅ Trust God when your children make choices you cannot control Our children don't need perfect parents. They need to see what real people do when they follow Jesus. We can give them something solid, let them see it lived out in us, correct them with hope, and ultimately entrust them to the God who loves them even more than we do. Key Scriptures: Proverbs 4:1–4, Proverbs 6:20–22, Proverbs 20:7, Proverbs 29:17, Proverbs 13:24 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe as we continue our Proverbs: Walking in Wisdom series. The Difference Between Wisdom & Knowledge

What's the difference between knowing the truth and actually living it? In The Difference Between Knowledge and Wisdom, Kelly Blake continues our Proverbs: Walking in Wisdom series by exploring one of the most important distinctions in the Christian life. Knowledge gathers information, but wisdom applies God's truth in ways that transform our character, decisions, and relationships. Drawing from Proverbs, James, and the teachings of Jesus, this message reminds us that we live in a world overflowing with information but starving for wisdom. God isn't simply looking for people who know His Word. He's looking for people whose lives reflect it. True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord, grows through humility, and is displayed through faithful obedience. In this message, you'll discover how to: ✅ Understand the biblical difference between knowledge and wisdom ✅ Recognize why information alone cannot transform your life ✅ Guard against pride and cultivate a teachable heart ✅ Learn how the fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom ✅ Apply God's truth in everyday decisions, relationships, and leadership God never intended His Word to simply fill our minds. He desires it to shape our hearts and direct our lives. At the end of the day, the question isn't simply, "What do you know?" It's, "How are you living?" Key Scriptures: Proverbs 1:7, Proverbs 9:10, Proverbs 4:7, James 1:22, James 1:5, 1 Corinthians 8:1, Proverbs 12:15, Proverbs 16:18, Proverbs 3:5–6, 1 Corinthians 1:24 If this message encouraged you, be sure to like, comment, share, and subscribe as we continue our Proverbs: Walking in Wisdom series.
