Self Doubt & The Character I'm Still Becoming - S1E5

Send us Fan Mail After a long break, I’m finally back behind the microphone. And honestly… a lot has happened. Life got busy. People changed. Some people walked away. My dreams started feeling further away than I wanted them to, and somewhere along the way, I found myself spending a lot more time trapped inside my own head. Oh—and my car got stolen. Because apparently the universe wanted to add another plot twist. In this episode of Off the Script & Over the Bar, I take a deeper look at something I've talked about before but never quite this honestly: self-doubt and the effect a negative mindspace can have on your everyday life. We talk about failure, feeling behind, chasing dreams, the characters we've looked up to growing up, and what those characters can teach us about the people we want to become. But this isn't a story about suddenly overcoming everything. It's about realizing that maybe we're not supposed to have the whole story figured out yet. And in a little experiment I didn't plan beforehand, I open a book of hopeful quotes to a completely random page and read whatever I find—for the first time, on the microphone. No preparation. No perfect response. Just me, the quote, and whatever I genuinely feel in that moment. Because maybe the character arc isn't about finally becoming who you thought you'd be. Maybe it's about becoming who you're still capable of being. Welcome back to Off the Script & Over the Bar. Take it easy. 🥃🎙️ Support the show
