    In this episode,  Big Al talks with Mathew Penny a B.A.S.E. jumper who managed to survive the unthinkable. Mathew, explains the disciplines involved in B.A.S.E and tells the story of how he managed to survive a jump where his parachute did not deploy due to an entanglement of the bridle. This sent him plummeting towards the ground at near terminal velocity. But somehow he survived the impact. Matt reflects on how this event has changed the way he thinks of life and lives for today. Mathew is the only person I can think of who has fallen from this sort of height and actually lived to tell the tale!

Take a listen and Helen tells us what a Place plan is and all about TKB VOICE and the plans and events they have planned. Helen says:   “The TKBVOICE website went live on 31 March. It is our online toolkit and digital platform for community engagement. It is designed to be visually appealing, and intuitive with a strong community feel. We are using it to gather views, data and intelligence that will inform the place planning process itself. Our traditional #LoveTKB postcards, a feature of our awareness raising campaign which has reached all households in Towyn & Kinmel Bay through grass roots community action, has been taken online.
