    18.10 Parasympathetic

Sometimes, we need to remind ourselves that life isn’t meant to be lived in a constant state of alertness. Our bodies need moments of silence, our minds need room to breathe, and our senses deserve a little rest from the endless stream of impressions coming our way. With Spacemusic 18.10 — Parasympathetic, I’d like to invite you into that space. A place where ambient music and electronic soundscapes become more than something to listen to. Let the sounds absorb you, allow the rhythms to settle, and give yourself permission to slow down. And you’re walking along with me in the Netherlands…Where I am right now, and where the fresh air is doing us good. Featuring: Outer Bankx, Lorenzo Montanà, I Awake, Ancient Astronaut, Lars Leonhard, Halcyon Hall, Off The Sky, Robert Scott Thompson, David Helpling, Eric Taylor, Anne Chris Bakker, Alpha Wave Movement, Jupiter, Chronotope Project, Off Land. “ The parasympathetic nervous system plays an important role in rest and recovery. Perhaps this is a good moment to explore what happens when we consciously make room for both! “ I’ll also share a personal update about my hearing loss, following my recent visit to the highly acclaimed Royal Audiology Centre in the Netherlands. It’s another step in this ongoing journey, one that continues to change my relationship with sound, silence, and the music I love. So find a comfortable place, put on your headphones if you like, and let this new episode take you somewhere quieter. 18.06 Adaptive Mode

In this new episode, I wanted to share something a little different—and perhaps a little more personal. As many of you know, I’m currently dealing with hearing loss in one ear, which has changed the way I listen to and experience sound. Recently, I began using AirPods in Adaptive Mode, which help suppress sudden loud noises while restoring some balance between my ears. In many ways, that experience inspired the title of today’s show. With this new reality in mind, I carefully selected and compiled music that I can comfortably tolerate, for the bigger part, creating a journey that feels deeply atmospheric, cinematic, and immersive. This may not be a typical episode, but I hope it offers something unique: a space where emotion, texture, depth, and subtle detail can unfold naturally. — A sonic voyage shaped by adaptation, perception, and finding beauty in a different way of listening — Featuring: Rudy Adrian, Martin Stürtzer, Hollan Holmes, Balance the Horizon, Tetsu Inoue, Heÿkla, Biome. I also want to extend a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has sent emails, messages, and best wishes. Your kindness and encouragement during this time have meant more than words can express. Every message has touched me deeply, and your words remain in my heart. I hope this episode brings you moments of reflection, wonder, and peace. ~TC   START … Lake Side Shelter - RUDY ADRIAN Night Becomes Dawn - RUDY ADRIAN Quantum - MARTIN STÜRTZER Visible Spectrum - MARTIN STÜRTZER So Far Away - HOLLAN HOLMES Other Planes of Existence - BALANCE THE HORIZON Curve - TETSU INOUE S Equation - TETSU INOUE Close Your Eyes We Are Diving - HEŸKLA Sun Will Light The Way - HEŸKLA Return to the Source - BIOME … END ———> PLEASE SEND ANY FEEDBACK IF YOU WANT ———> admin@ambient.zone ———> visit our site www.ambient.zone ———> SUPPORT THIS STATION https://ambient.zone/donate

    18.05 Idiopathic

The Spacemusic podcast returns this May with a new episode titled “Idiopathic” — a journey through ambient textures, late-night reflections, dreaming and escape. The title carries a very personal meaning. In medicine, idiopathic describes something that happens without a known cause or explanation. Recently, I lost the hearing in my left ear, and despite tests and questions, there are still no clear answers. For someone whose life revolves around sound, it has been a deeply emotional experience. This episode became a way of processing that uncertainty through music — searching for calm, meaning, and light inside something difficult to understand. I will talk about it more during the show. Featuring: Eden Iris, Alpha Wave Movement, Subtle Shift, Biome, Hollan Holmes, Sebby Kowal, Odysmod. Thank you for listening and for staying close through every transmission, know that your presence means more than words can express. Another new episode will follow in June. Sessions | Moon

Tonight’s soundtrack at the end of April, is made for those quiet, silver-lit moments—when the world softens, your thoughts drift, and imagination takes the lead. Picture yourself under the moonlight, letting go of the day, allowing gentle sounds to carry you somewhere lighter, calmer, maybe even a little magical. All the music in this show comes from Odysmod, an artist based in Athens, Greece. His approach blends atmospheric textures with subtle rhythms, piano and modular synths, creating soundscapes that feel both intimate and expansive. There’s a quiet emotional pull in his work—never overwhelming, but always present—guiding you into a space where reflection and dreaming come naturally. Tracks comes from the following albums: Agnosia Faithful Moon Life Reminiscence This mix is in nonstop mode … tracks and extra added soundscapes, for wandering minds and open hearts. For finding beauty in stillness, for feeling grounded yet free. “Breathe it in, and let the night—and these sounds—take you wherever you need to go” // AZ
