    In today’s episode, the party finally gets a moment to breathe at the Blue Water Inn, enjoying warm food, fine wine, and the Martikovs’ hospitality. There they meet Rictavio, an eccentric half‑elf carnival ringmaster with a flair for outrageous tales… though something about him suggests there’s more beneath the surface. After a much‑needed rest, Jim rejoins the group, guided back by a vision from Lathander. But morning in Vallaki quickly shatters any illusion of safety. The Baron’s rule proves anything but benevolent, and the party witnesses Izek Strazni—his volatile enforcer—publicly dragging an elderly woman through the streets in a display of brutal authority. Darker news soon follows. Father Lucian and Ireena reveal that the sacred Bones of St. Andral have been stolen. Who took them… and what happens when Vallaki loses its last line of protection?

But in a surprising turn of events, they’re joined by the returning Harry the wizard, who brings gifts for the crew. They meet Gunther, safely deliver Ireena to St. Andral’s Church, and say farewell to Ismark. After a brief tour of Vallaki, they make their way to the mayor’s mansion—only to be met with a cold shoulder. Will they reach the Blue Water Inn and find the refuge they’re hoping for? Whilst site seeing through Barovia, they meet a nice old lady, Vic, although all is not what it seems.
