    (2026_08_08) - Understanding the Heavens 4 - X-raying the Angels - Sophomore's BM - Pastor David Diya

Description: In this episode of the sophomores brethren meeting, our Pastor taught on the the inhabitants of the tabernacle and how the inhabitants are a reflection of the inhabitants of the heavens. Our anchor text was Psalm 103:19-22 which our Pastor expounded with light from other scriptures as well to establish understanding about the inhabitants of the heavens and the tabernacle. Our Pastors first reaffirmed that the there are three heavens namely the first heaven, the second heaven, and the third heaven where the throne of God is suitates otherwise known as the paradise. Then, our Pastor established that these heavens are worlds respectively with consists of innumerable company of angels Heb 12:22. It was seen that each bless the Lord in Psalm 103:20-22 was a representative of each heaven. In addition, we saw that the first heaven angels are all his works in all places of his dominion as seen in Psalm 103:22. Our Pastor explained that the outer court was a mirror of the first heaven which signified that the Levites and the Kings which were the inhabitants were a mirror of the dominions, thrones, powers, and principalities in the first heaven as seen in Col 1:16 and Eph 1:21. He then explained that the first heaven angels were stars of God as seen in Isaiah 14:13. He then further established that dominion is the sun and throne is the moon, Psalm 148:1-3. This then further established why the Levites are the Kings are still ruled by the light of the sun and the moon. Furthermore, we saw that the second heaven were the hosts, the ministers of his that do of his pleasure as seen in Psalm 103:21. Our Pastor established that just as the shew bread was present in the Holy Place, the second heaven angels are beings of knowledge as knowledge is what makes a priest which are the inhabitants of the Holy Place as seen in Hosea 4:6. He further established that just as Psalm 103 vs 21 showed that they are ministers, they are also flaming fire as seen in Psalm 104:4 and Heb 1:7. Then, it was further established in Isaiah 6:2, 5 that the second heaven angels were also known as Seraphim as they possess six wings that depicts the Menorah light in the Holy Place and they were able to place a live coal in the mouth of Prophet Isaiah which was a representative of the coals in the Golden Censer of the Holy Place. Finally, our Pastor established that the third heaven angels were the angels that excel in strength, do his commandments, and hearken unto the voice of his word as seen in Psalm 103:20. Our Pastor established that they were otherwise known as Cherubim as the Lord of Hosts dwelleth between them as seen in 2 Sam 6:2, Heb 9:5, and 2 Sam 22:11. Then he established that the most Holy is the realm of excellence and they were seen as spirits as seen in Heb 1:1-6. Then, it was established that these beings are clouds as seen in Psalm 104:3, Acts 1:9-10, Matt 24:30, Rev 1:7. In conclusion, we established that knowing the inhabitants of the Heavens and the inhabitants of the tabernacle is very important because we need the help of angels to fight against the devil and his angels. Also, it would help us to relate more with the ministry of angels as they are sent forth to minister things that brings about salvation.

(2026_08_05) - Understanding Faith 5: Exercising and Growing in Faith to get Results - Pastor Israel Ajiboye

In this final episode of our series on understanding faith, our pastor began by reiterating some truths. He explained that the realm of the Spirit is as close as the thoughts we have. Faith is the means by which we relate to and interact with the realm of the Spirit. One important lesson emphasized was that the size of our faith does not determine its effectiveness. Jesus taught that faith as small as a mustard seed is enough to accomplish what seems impossible (Matthew 17:20). The mountain does not respond to our spiritual maturity as believers rather, it responds to faith. This truth is illustrated in the account of the Syrophoenician woman. Although she was a Gentile and not a Jew, she approached Jesus in faith. Jesus initially referred to the children receiving bread before "the dogs," yet because of her persistent faith and humble response, her daughter was healed (Mark 7:24–30). Our pastor then explained who a true Jew is according to the New Testament. A Jew is not merely one by physical descent but one inwardlya person whose heart has been transformed by the Spirit. (Romans 2:28–29). Another important distinction made was between two expressions of faith: mountain-moving faith and mountain-becoming faith. Mountain-moving faith is the faith that addresses circumstances. It is the faith that enables believers to speak to mountains and see obstacles removed. In contrast, mountain-becoming faith is the faith that transforms the believer. Rather than merely changing situations around us, it changes us into the likeness of Christ. Our pastor described mountain-becoming faith as the faith of Jesus, while mountain-moving faith was described as faith in the Lord Jesus. Mountain-becoming faith is what shapes our character and conforms us to Christ. If we have not first learned to exercise faith in Jesus, we will struggle to walk in the faith of Jesus. Finally, our pastor answered questions that had been asked throughout the series. He concluded by reminding us that faith is indispensable for every believer.
