    "CHARM OFFENSIVE" - PT02 - REALITY DATING AT ITS FINEST!! Carol and Zosia continue their whirlwind romance around the ABQ. We're off to play some croquet...or how about a couple's massage...maybe even a night of stargazing?? Reality TV show producers could not come up with more unique or TV-friendly activities if they tried. The hive has even recreated the diner where Carol wrote her first Wycaro title. That's quite a feat considering it burned down maybe 20 years ago. They were also able to find the original waitress who had made Carol feel so welcome as she was chugging free coffee and scratching things out on legal pads. There's even a super-steamy, wow-they-finally-did-it kiss!! Stursia is happening. Zosia shares some childhood memories that are decidedly 'pre-Hive'. And, of course, we check in with Manousos as he continues to make his way to the ABQ.     "CHARM OFFENSIVE" - PT01 - THE GANG IS BACK IN THE ABQ!! After a biblical stint of 36 days alone in the desert, Carol gave up and gave in. She painted a huge "come back" in the middle of the cul-de-sac. Within minutes, she was clutching Zosia in a tearful embrace. Jets are streaming through the sky towards the Sunport. All will be back to a hive mind level of normal in just a couple of hours.  Carol isn't sure how to act around people. She mixes up some room temperature pink Lemonade and tries to make small talk about fine art and wild animals. She is nervous and tongue-tied but obviously relieved to be around people, even if they are weirdos. Zosia...and the hive...is just glad to be back with Carol.  We're going to tour the hive mind's sleeping quarters and hike the mountains out around town. It's like if a first date were organized by a Reality TV dating show.  We're also going to check in on Manousos. What happened to him after being extricated from the Darien Gap? We'll catch up with him in Panama. He made it through the gap!! He's a bit worse for wear...but he manages to nab himself an ambulance for the northern leg of his trip to New Mexico.  Make sure you're subscribed in your favorite podcast player.     "THE GAP" - PT02 - FROM THE JUNGLES TO THE ROOFTOPS!! [NOTE: Due to some equipment issues, you may encounter static or spikes that sound like clipping at various points in this program. New gear is on the way! Rather than wait, I decided this one was acceptable. Hopefully it's not too bad for this one and the problem will be corrected by the equipment upgrade.] In the second part of this somewhat unloved episode, we catch up to Manousos. We follow him as he makes his way from Paraguay all the way to the Darien Gap! What's the Darien Gap? It's one of the most dangerous stretches of jungle anywhere in the world. It breaks up the Pan-American Highway right at the point where North America connects to South America.  We're going to follow Manousos for a LONG time on his journey through South America. He's REALLY touring the Canary Islands, but we're supposed to THINK it's South America. We see him at the entrance to the Gap...and beyond. He makes his way through dense forest. Finally, he comes face to face with the dreaded Chunga Palm. Turns out, its spiny black needles can get you no matter how careful you are. After Manousos is air-lifted against his will, we make a major time jump. Carol has been alone and going a bit crazy for 36 days in Albuquerque. She's attempting to keep herself sane with a bit of Urban Golf. It's not working so well. When her fireworks display almost becomes suicidal, Carol makes a major decision.     "THE GAP" - PT01 - AN EPIC JOURNEY BEGINS...BUT FIRST, LET'S PARTY WITH CAROL! In this unloved episode, it's time to launch Manousos on his journey from Paraguay to Albuquerque. But, before we do that, it's time to hang with Carol for a day out! First, a little golf at the ABQ Country Club. The wildlife is taking the place over, but you can still play for the time being. Carol's going to nab a new ride while there. Then it's off to the Jemez Hot Springs. Carol relaxes in a mineral bath while belting out a Nelly tune. After that, the Hive has prepared an incredible dinner at the Level Five restaurant located at Albuquerque's Chaco Hotel.  After all of this fun, we check in on Manousos in Paraguay. He's on the journey we saw him start at the end of the last episode.     H.D.P. - PT03 - CHECKING IN WITH THE PARAGUAY GUY! The final fifteen minutes of "H.D.P." is spent in Paraguay. We step back in time (according to the timer that opens the segment) to the point where Manousos startts on his epic journey to Albuquerque. I felt like it was too much to add in at the end of the last podcast episode. Also, since it is so different as a scene, I felt like this segment should get its own 'mini-episode.'  We're going to check in on Manousos in Paraguay. He's finished his frequency scanning project. Just as he was looking for a new hobby, a VHS tape from Carol Sturka arrived with dinner. Carol's message got Manousos fired up. He decided he must go find this woman in Albuquerque. We watch as he packs then preps his '73 MG for the trip of the Pan American Highway. We'll even meet Mannie's Mama before we leave town. This is it! The third and final part of "H.D.P."!!     H.D.P. - PT02 - WHOA! IS THAT JOHN CENA? This week we're hanging with Mr. D.! One of the other unjoined, the stylish ne'er do well Khoumba Diabate, has taken up residence at a palace in the sky. It's the Verona Sky Villa at the otherwise uninhabited Westgate Hotel in the also unhinhabited Las Vegas, NV.  Carol has sought out Mr. D. to tell him about this horror of cannibalism she's discovered in the hive. Too late! Diabate, and all of the other unjoined, are not only aware, they dont' seem to really care. John Cena...yes, THAT John Cena...steps in to explain via video. John's so good at it, who else would the hive get? Carol discovers she's an unjoined outcast. Khoumba doesn't want Carol hanging around to harsh his Vegas vibe. Carol delivers her message with her usual dose of happy sunshine. Mr. Khoumba Diabate was supposed to be staying there for a bit, at least. You remember he was in search of Elvis' ghost at the top of the Westgate. He's the closest unjoined person to her, and she can even drive to him. Carol heads out for Vegas. Khoumba's hot tub full of ladies flees as soon as they find out. It all starts with throwing away your trash...because the drones sure can't do it! In the trash is where she notices the millk cartons. Which, of course, means a trip to the dairy. What's that powdered stuff at the dairy? And what kind of liquid are they passing off for milk? Carol won't stop until she has answers!! After a fluke brown bag identification, Carol arrives at Agri-Jet. Here she makes a discovery that causes her to gasp...right before we cut to black and roll credits.  What was Carol's awful discovery??
