Seeds of Truth Podcast: Introduction Episode

Welcome to the Seeds of Truth Podcast. My name is Danna Rodebush and I am the founder of Seeds of Truth Ministries, which is a Christian organization for kids and new Bible students. This introduction episode is to help listeners get to know me and for me to explain my vision with this podcast. This ministry began as a passion project for me to share free resources with anyone searching for solid Christian teaching materials that will help in planting seeds in the hearts of future followers of Jesus. I am a former elementary teacher and current curriculum developer with a passion for writing lessons and creating activities that will help spread the good news of Jesus with anyone and everyone. Some Christian doctrine can be complex and difficult to understand, so the mission that I have is to break down complex Biblical truths into easier to understand lessons and guides. The mission of Seeds of Truth Ministries is to plant seeds of Bible Truth into the hearts of kids and adults so they can grow into a relationship with Jesus. Seeds are placed in the ground in hopes of a healthy plant surfacing and growing and producing fruit or flowers, right? It is the same idea with “planting seeds” in a spiritual sense. When Bible teachers pour into providing a solid Biblical foundation to learners, the hope is for an eventual flourishing of “fruit” in the life of the learner. Sometimes it may take days, weeks, years, or even decades to see the “fruits” from the “seeds” that are planted in a young Christian’s life. But those seeds that are planted have the potential to grow into something beautiful with a little bit of watering. That is what this ministry is about. On my website at seedsoftruthministries.com you can find Bible lessons, activities, studies, and videos all designed for children and anyone who is newer to the Bible. Everything is and always will be free. The podcast episodes are adapted from the lessons and studies that I have created which I am making available in audio and video form.
