    40 | Your Life is Hard Because You Refuse to Yield to God

    🙏🏾Life is hard.. but it doesn’t have to be! Sis, let me hold your hand when I say this…. You’re making your life harder because you’re not truly yielded to Yah! 😬 But it’s okay because in this episode we’re gonna air it all out! If you’re struggling to truly surrender, submit and commit to Yah THIS EPISODE IS FOR YOU! Yield: to produce, provide, or give way to something else; to give up, as to superior power or authority. 📖 Opening Scripture: 1 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 😬Your Life Is Hard Because… * You don’t actually believe that He is God. You want a genie not God. Hebrews 11:6 - But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. * You bought the lie that says, having a relationship with God is about YOU/Your Will. Matthew 16:24 - Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. * You have no clue what His will is. You don’t read and study the word. 2 Timothy 2:15 - Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. * You keep bad company 1 Corinthians 15:33 - Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. * You love this world/sin and NOT God Colossians 3:5-6 - Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 1 John 2:15 - Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 💡What Yah REALLY Wants: He wants YOU. He wants your will. He wants you to choose HIM! Surrender, Submit, and Commit! ✨ He wants your heart! Jeremiah 29:13 - And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. James 4:8 - Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Mark 12:30 - And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. ✨He wants you to choose HIM!     God is With You In the Go Through

    ☝🏾Sometimes we feel like as believers we should not go through trials. On the contrary, trials and suffering are a vital part of our faith walk. In this episode I am sharing truths about trails and reminders when you go through tribulations. GOD IS WITH YOU in the go through, so be encouraged and TRUST Him in every trial and in every season! Opening Scripture: Psalm 106:1-13 💡 The Truth About Trials * Trials come to make you strong 1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. * Trials come to refine you James 1:2-4 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. * Trials come to prove that You NEED God 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Exodus 14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. * Trials come to so that the works of God may be made manifest John 9:1-3 And as Jesus passed by, he saw a man which was blind from his birth.2 And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. 4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 🤔 When You Are Tempted to Believe God Is Not With You * Remember, Yah does NOT work in angst. * Remember, Suffering is NOT a sign of abandonment. Yah DOES NOT LIE! He said He would never leave nor forsake you and He hasn’t. * Remember, the goal of trials is to try your faith. PUSH THROUGH * Remember, distress and rejoicing can exist in the same season! * Remember, Yah hears and answers the cries of the righteous!     REPLAY: Understanding Biblical Femininity: Applying The W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework

    💁🏾‍♀️What exactly is Biblical Femininity? Biblical femininity is the basis for how we respond to life as women of Yah. It is the foundation of our behaviors, ideas, and attributes. In this episode I will share a clear explanation of biblical femininity and a framework on how to apply it to your life. 💕Biblical femininity explained: PART #1: UNDERSTANDING and ACCEPTING Yah’s hierarchy of authority according to 1 Corinthians 11:3. AUTHORITY CONSISTS OF RESPONSIBILITY PART #2: Embracing YOUR RIGHT to be loved, cherished, cared for, and guided by Man (and obviously God!) according to Ephesians 5:21-33 Fully understanding biblical femininity is recognizing that your strength as a woman of Yah is NOT in your dominance but in your influence. Applying the W.A.R. Like A Woman Framework: * a supporting structure around which something can be built * a system of rules, ideas, or beliefs that is used to plan or decide something: WAIL: 1: TO EXPRESS SORROW AUDIBLY : LAMENT 2: TO MAKE A SOUND SUGGESTIVE OF A MOURNFUL CRY 3: TO EXPRESS DISSATISFACTION PLAINTIVELY : COMPLAIN Have radically honest conversations with God, Beseeching heaven for clarity, understanding, instruction, and perspective shift. AND WAITING WITH EXPECTATION, A RESPONSE! ADJUST: TO REDUCE TO A SYSTEM : REGULATE Responding in faith and obedience to whatever Yah tells or shows you. REFRESH: TO RESTORE OR MAINTAIN BY RENEWING SUPPLY : REPLENISH Accept that Yah is working it out for your good as you adjust to His system. PRIVATE REFRESHING: Use your “Happy List” to go do something nice for yourself or something you enjoy. AKA self-care PUBLIC REFRESHING: Share your testimony! And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death.     REPLAY: The Truth About Living A Soft Life

    💅🏾 Are you living a soft life? The world has been buzzing about soft living the past couple of years, and as a woman of Yah it’s my duty to examine the narratives being pushed in front of me. In this episode I take a look at what exactly a “soft life” entails through a biblical lense. ☝🏾The TRUTH About Living A Soft Life * Adopt the Bible’s version of Femininity: is understanding that you are not your own, and that you answer to authority (the man and Yah). This is not just about you submitting but it’s also about the fact that you have the right to be covered, cherished, protected and cared for by the man. * 1 Corinthians 11:3 gives us a hierarchy of authority 1 Corinthians 11: 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. * Ephesians 5:21-33 speaks about submission as being a characteristic of both women and men. V. 22 speaks directly to the woman but v. 23-29 speak in details directly to the man. V. 30-33 speak to both again. Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. * A soft life takes hard work: You are going to go through things that challenge your faith, and how you respond makes all the difference. * Soft is subjective: My version of a soft life may not look like yours and that’s FINE. Philippians 4:11-13 - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. 12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.     36 | Live Your Life Like A Daughter of Zion: God Is Concerned About You Healing - Part #4

    Welcome to part #4 of our series, God Is Concerned About You Healing! In this episode I am sharing my thoughts and reflections as I walk out my own healing journey as a daughter of Zion. As women of Yah we do not run on the same program as the women of the world. We were created to be the light and to move according to Yah’s program. Here are a few of my thoughts as I continue to walk through my own healing journey. * Examine everything in the light of scripture. I can’t follow every plan and path to healing. I MUST seek the word of Yah for His way of healing. * Will Thou Be Made Whole? Grief, fear, struggling etc. is not a roadblock to my healing, but an opportunity to be reminded that Yah is doing the healing work. After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had. 5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? John 5:1-6 * You are Yah’s gift to man. Leaning into biblical femininity is powerful because it is Yah’s divine design for me and when I lean into it, I receive rest, provision, protection and so much more. Leaning into my creation role releases me to be creative, to be uniquely me and Yah wants to use those unique parts of me for His glory and to bless those around me. Help Meet: The phrase comes from two Hebrew words: ‘ezer (meaning strength, rescue, or a vital helper—frequently used in the Bible to describe God as a helper to man) and kenegdo (meaning corresponding to, matching, or standing as an equal counterpart). [1, 2, 3] And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him. 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. 25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.     35 | We MUST Forgive: God is Concerned About You Healing - Part #3

    Welcome to part #3 of our series, God Is Concerned About You Healing! In this episode I am discussing a CORE factor to our healing… FORGIVENESS! There is no healing without forgiveness. What is forgiveness Forgiveness is a conscious, voluntary decision to let go of negative emotions like resentment, bitterness, and the desire for revenge toward someone who has hurt you Matthew 18: 21-35 AMP 21 Then Peter came to Him and asked, “Lord, how many times will my brother sin against me and I forgive him and let it go? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus answered him, “I say to you, not up to seven times, but seventy times seven. 23 “Therefore the kingdom of heaven is like a king who wished to settle accounts with his slaves. 24 When he began the accounting, one who owed him 10,000 [i]talents was brought to him. 25 But because he could not repay, his master ordered him to be sold, with his wife and his children and everything that he possessed, and payment to be made. 26 So the slave fell on his knees and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me and I will repay you everything.’ 27 And his master’s heart was moved with compassion and he released him and forgave him [canceling] the debt. 28 But that same slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him [j]a hundred denarii; and he seized him and began choking him, saying, ‘Pay what you owe!’ 29 So his fellow slave fell on his knees and begged him earnestly, ‘Have patience with me and I will repay you.’ 30 But he was unwilling and he went and had him thrown in prison until he paid back the debt. 31 When his fellow slaves saw what had happened, they were deeply grieved and they went and reported to their master[with clarity and in detail] everything that had taken place. 32 Then his master called him and said to him, ‘You wicked and contemptible slave, I forgave all that [great] debt of yours because you begged me. 33 Should you not have had mercy on your fellow slave [who owed you little by comparison], as I had mercy on you?’ 34 And in wrath his master turned him over to the torturers (jailers) until he paid all that he owed. 35 My heavenly Father will also do the same to [every one of] you, if each of you does not forgive his brother from your heart.” Why we MUST Forgive: * Forgiveness is a foundational element of our faith. * It is why we have access to Yah * It is a reflection of the compassionate nature of Messiah that He wants us to adopt * Yah will NOT forgive us if we do not forgive Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. How to Forgive: * Make the choice: Understand that making the choice to forgive is not dismissing the offense. It is simply choosing to not hold on to anger, bitterness, and feeling like you have the right to exact vengeance. Romans 12: 19 19 Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave the way open for God’s wrath [and His judicial righteousness]; for it is written [in Scripture], “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. * Share your pain with Yah: You cannot forgive when you are consumed with pain. Tell Yah every detail of how the offence affected you and how it made you feel. If this is a situation where the offender remains present (physically) in your life, ask TMH for a perspective shift so that you can see them and not return to your desire for vengeance. The enemy has already penetrated your soul with the offence, now he wants to plant a seed of bitterness. DON’T LET HIM DO IT! * Obey Yah’s Instruction: When you go to God with your pain, He will instruct you on how to move forward. OBEY HIM! * Walk In Victory: Go about your life… and LIVE! Go enjoy what you love, go love the people in your life, create something, worship, work. LIVE INTENTIONALLY! Unforgiveness robs you of living. Don’t Let It! This is essentially The W.A.R. Method I teach in my RecovHer Journal. Get your at the link in my bio. How do you know you have forgiven someone? * You know when the sting of the pain is gone. It no longer rules your emotions and your life. * You know when you are at peace and you are no longer defined by the offense. * You know when you can think of the offender and or the situation with compassion or a new perspective. This is not to excuse them but to simply see the whole picture.
