    Being the Private Journal of George Moley

    After a rough night against robots and aliens and pulling Lloyd out of the fire, there’s nothing Ninten would like more than to sleep it off and forget that it ever happened. But happen it all certainly did, and the strange lady’s voice in the sky is so insistent of the great journey before the two boys that she even tells their dads about it! Now, armed with the mysterious legacy of Ninten’s great ancestor, they have no choice but to pack plenty of inhalers and a twenty-three pack of fortified bottle rockets, and set off in search of ah… two other people, whoever they are, who will help them get, somewhere else, I think?, to reach the ultimate goal of… hm, I guess it’s not very clear yet. As bad as Ninten’s summer vacations usually are, this one is shaping up to be the worst one yet! Will Ninten’s lazy dog ever tell him where the basement key is hiding? Will he ever make sense of the mad ramblings of his great-great-grandfather George Moley? And will he and Lloyd encounter the Youngtown Neighborhood Watch and live to tell the tale?     In Podunk, a small town in Eagleland, there lives a sad boy with a strange name…  Ninten Elliott, age 15, does little more than study for math tests and eagerly wait for his childhood to hurry up and end. All that changes when one fateful night, his bedroom lamp grows teeth and tries to bite his hand off! Ninten, accidentally discovering a great psionic power welling within him, now has to tangle with a freak alien occurrence and somehow rescue his sort-of only friend in the process: Lloyd Fahrquhar, scrawny, cowardly, and woefully ill-equipped to handle even a regular high school bully, let alone a murderous robot attack!     It’s over, at long last… Ness’s fearsome foe is defeated, the world is saved, the Chosen Four are okay, we’re all gonna be okay! Now then, boys and girls, just follow the bouncing ball, and a one and a two… 🎶 Grown-ups have done so much more stuff than me There's many things that I still want to see Now I take my backpack to the world and fill it with memories My favorite baseball cap rests on my head My worn out sneakers, faded white and red My own guitar pick, shiny and clear Safe in my pocket, right here Though sometimes I got sad and almost cried You were right there with me, by my side I knew we were friends to the core But maybe it was something more 🎶 Together, we walked that road for so long We laughed, we played, we got hurt, we grew strong When taking short-cuts, and getting lost I learned what I'd known all along That even if you can't put faith in those Who you meet, and lose, and love, and hug Overall, you just can't give up Believing in your friends And just by being there, you've woken me Just by being who you'd always be Now I see, you helped me to know The stronger, happier me Like a gentle breeze, through the grass and the pine trees You always wore a smile 🎶 Now we, who shared our Smiles and Tears...
