Coach Talk with Tyler Carlton (Lowndes County) and David Hendrix (Jackson County)

🏈 BONUS EPISODE: High School Football, Leadership & The Process On this special episode of Common Sense Super Heroes, we’re joined by two outstanding Georgia high school football coaches: Coach David Hendrix, Offensive Coordinator at Jackson County High School, and Coach Tyler Carlton, Offensive Coordinator at Lowndes County High School. Both coaches are enjoying undefeated seasons, and we dive into what’s making their teams successful! We discuss their biggest games so far, standout players, remaining schedules, and what it’s going to take to keep that momentum rolling into the playoffs. But this episode goes beyond the X’s and O’s! We talk about the coaches and mentors who have influenced their careers, the lessons they’ve learned along the way, and how those experiences have shaped their own coaching philosophies. We also dive into the six-part Nick Saban documentary and his famous “Process” philosophy. What makes Saban’s approach so successful? How much of that mindset can be incorporated into high school football? And how do you get young athletes to focus on preparation, discipline, accountability, and doing their jobs rather than just the scoreboard? It’s a great conversation about football, leadership, building winning cultures, and developing young men both on and off the field. 🎙️ Two great coaches. Two undefeated teams. One great football conversation! #CommonSenseSuperHeroes #HighSchoolFootball #GeorgiaHighSchoolFootball #JacksonCountyPanthers #LowndesVikings #NickSaban #TheProcess #FootballCoaches #CoachingLeadership #FridayNightLights #GeorgiaFootball #Podcast
