More Than Mom Mode ft. Mikki McCleery

Send a text  Ambition, Passion Threads & Giving Yourself Permission  In today's episode, I'm sitting down with Mikki Mcleery — mom, wife, paralegal, virtual assistant, and founder of Passion Threads — for a conversation about what it really means to be ambitious when you're already wearing a million hats. Mikki gets real about finishing her bachelor's degree as a single mom running on six hours of sleep, learning to ask for help without guilt, and what it felt like to leave her son home for the first time to attend a four-day retreat in Joshua Tree. We talk about the mirror affirmations that sparked Passion Threads, why community is everything, and what happens when you finally stop doing it all alone. AND — we're dropping something special. 🎉 The Liz Rodriguez x Passion Threads merch collab is officially LIVE. Designs that have been sitting in Canva for a whole year are finally here, and we couldn't be more excited for you to wear them.  10% of every sale is donated to CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights), because good women making good money should always give back. You Don’t Need to Work Less to Be a Good Mom

Send a text In this unapologetic episode of Mujer Sin Culpa, Liz Rodriguez gets real about a truth many moms feel but rarely say out loud: “I don’t want to work less just so I can spend more time with my family.” Not because we don’t love our babies, we do, deeply. But because we deserve to exist outside of motherhood, outside of the roles we carry, outside of the expectations placed on us. Liz dives into: Why moms are allowed to want more for themselvesHow ambition and motherhood can coexist without guiltThe difference between intuition and conditioningWhy building a business for yourself is not selfishHow to reconnect with the woman behind the title “mom”A guided visualization to help you meet the version of you you’ve been missingThe first steps to rediscovering your skills, desires, and identityThis episode is your permission slip to stop shrinking, stop waiting, and start leading yourself again. A Chapter I Never Read Out Loud

Send a text In this episode of Mujer Sin Culpa, I’m doing something I’ve never done before. I’m opening up a chapter of my life, literally! This Episode will give you a glimpse to WHY I do what I do, and my passion behind it all.   I was invited to be part of "This Time Is Personal: Building a Life, a Business and a Self that Actually Fits" (the book) curated and compiled by Kaitlin Anthony and in this episode, I read my chapter out loud for the first time. Not just the words on the page, but the life behind them. The moments I survived. The identities I shed. The versions of myself I had to let die so I could finally come home to who I am. This episode is more English than Spanish. I talk about becoming a mother before I ever knew myself as a woman. About survival mode. About rock bottom moments, losing my voice, numbing pain, and slowly. intentionally, choosing myself again. This chapter was written before I quit my old podcast… before I fully stepped into this one… before I claimed my voice the way I do now. And reading it back feels like closing one chapter while fully standing in another. If you’ve ever thought: “This can’t be it.”“I want more… but I feel guilty for wanting more.”“Who am I outside of motherhood or my job?”Let this episode be your permission slip. Because the truth is—you don’t need representation. You are the representation. Motherhood and womanhood can coexist. Your ambition is not selfish. And your real life is waiting for you to decide. 🎧 Press play. Sit with it. Let it stir something in you.  I love you.  Gracias por estar aquí.  _________________________________________________________________________________ You can purchase your copy here: https://a.co/d/06QL2eIx "This Time Is Personal: Building a Life, a Business and a Self that Actually Fits" by Kaitlin Anthony (Author), Amanda Lazenby (Author), Audrey Rose (Author), Grace Williams (Author), Grecia Ruiz (Author), Hailey Baitinger (Author), Heather Murillo (Author), Katie Edmonds (Author), Liz Rodriguez (Author), Mikki McCleery (Author)

This Is What Mujer Sin Culpa Stands For

Send a text ⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode includes conversations about injustice, violence, and current events that may be emotionally heavy or difficult for some listeners. Please take care of yourself while listening. Welcome to the very first episode of Mujer Sin Culpa. ✨ This episode didn’t go the way I originally planned and that’s exactly why it needed to happen. I came into the launch of this podcast with a different outline, a different topic. And for our very first episode, it felt important to start exactly where Mujer Sin Culpa was always meant to live, in real life and real conversations. In this episode, we talk about what’s happening around our country right now, the injustice, the violence, the heaviness so many of us are carrying and why silence has never been the answer. This podcast was created to give mujeres a mic. To remind women that our voices are powerful. That speaking up isn’t being dramatic or being too much... it’s being courageous. And that using your platform (no matter how big or small) is part of how we create change. Mujer Sin Culpa is about more than ambition and business. It’s about identity. Integrity. Community. And showing up for what’s right, even when it’s uncomfortable. If you’ve been feeling the weight of everything happening… If you’ve wanted to say something but weren’t sure how… If you’ve been told to “stay quiet” or “stick to content”… This first episode is for you. Because Mujeres don’t need permission to speak. We need space. And we’re creating it here. 📢 Take Action & Use Your Voice If you’re ready to move beyond awareness and into action, I’ve linked resources below with: • Scripts you can use when calling your representatives • Phone numbers for local and national officials • Posts breaking down exactly what to say and why it matters Visit this Insta Account 👉 [@5CALLS] or visit www.5calls.org Your voice matters.
