    For my latest podcast interview, I had the pleasure of interviewing Gordon Black CBE of Black Family Investments, one of the wisest people in the Yorkshire business world. In this wide-ranging interview, we discuss his early years at family business Peter Black, launching Adidas bags in the UK, working with the Dassler family, doing business the M&S way, building companies for scale, the importance of game-changing products, what he looks for in investments and never being a dinosaur. Gordon also has strong words of advice for new PM Andy Burnham: it's businesses that create jobs, not governments, and lower taxes actually increase state income. He wants the Cabinet to embrace Thatcherism, not reject it. Gordon also reveals his favourite business book, which incidentally was the same as the last guest's in this series.
