21 Questions (Ep 71) Meryl Steep, Cindy Lauper were born on the same day!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about a Japanese delicacy, A type of wine, and a stranded British sailor that Australia spent $6M to rescue! And lots of other things! Not many people know this but when The Brady Bunch was being filmed the cast used to ‘warm up’ for the day’s shoot by listening to this podcast in character. Anne B. Davis (who played Alice the housekeeper) was a very knowledgeable woman but (as Alice) was not only often wrong but sometimes ludicrously so. One time she answered the question ‘how any days are in a leap year’ with ‘Shopping day, washing day and Valentine’s Day - not that Sam ever gets me anything’ leading to Florence Henderson (as Carol) to exclaim ‘Oh Alice!.... The producers liked that so much they made it a regular phrase in the show. We did that! 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. It’s a short, sharp trivia podcast where Mike gives you the answer to each question before he asks the next one so there’s no need for paper, pens, teams or a bricklayer's trowel. 21 Questions (Ep 70) One of my Listeners Seems to Hate Me!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about three British singers - Ozzy Osbourne being one but the other two are the answers to questions in the show so we’re not saying who right now! There’s also a lot of questions that do not in any way involve singers, British or otherwise!    Not many people know this but King Charles III (who famously talks to his plants) now plays this podcast to them. It has absolutely made them smarter – the other day Charles walked into the Royal Greenhouse and one of the plants had arranged it leaves into a message that spelled out ‘I need nitrogen fertilizer please dad!’ We’re pretty sure that’s because of the nitrogen fertilizer question we asked in Ep 47. We're obviously quietly very proud... 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 69) When An Interview With Rob Thomas Goes Wrong!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike does not sing. We see this as a positive. There are also some very interesting trivia questions, but we’d like to think we manage that most shows, what with that being the whole point of our existence and all… Not many people know this but at the FIFA World Cup most of the teams relax after games by competing against other nations via this podcast. The Australian team is currently undefeated, but that’s mostly because they only challenge the teams whose first language is not English. Good thinking fellas! 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 68) Judge Judy Got Him Fired!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike talks about Emelia Earhart and how it wasn’t her fault she went missing, the Italian flag and the Queen’s fave dog. And some other stuff. He also quotes the Rocky Horror Show but it’s totally contextual we swear! Not many people know this but Cleopatra was a huge fan of this podcast! She used to Isten to it whilst enjoying her famous milk baths, and at one point set up a massive PA system so everyone in Egypt could listen as well. We picked up 100,000 listeners in a single week because of her. Nice one Cleo! 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 67) Why Must We Complicate Everything?

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike once again sings at you. We’ve asked him not to and we’re sorry that he just won’t listen. But, it’s only once and only one line from one song, and it’s from a famous musical. It could we worse, we guess. Otherwise, there are some really interesting questions in this ep and we think you’ll be entertained and informed, but probably not titillated. Not many people know this but Joan of Arc was a mad trivia fan. She was constantly upset that she was known as ‘the maid of Orleans’ - she asked people over and over to refer to her as ‘the trivia queen of Orleans, but it never caught on. Still, she never missed an ep of this podcast, and we’re grateful for her support. 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 66) A Frivolous Ep About Pocahontas, Beatrice and Eugenie…

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike talks TV based on a Marvel character, countries in Africa and a world famous amphibian. We think you’ll enjoy this ep! Not many people know this but in 1752 Benjamin Franklin was driving his wife crazy listening to this podcast at full volume whilst she was trying to have a nap. ‘For the love of God Benny’ she said ‘Turn that off and go outside and find something to do!’ Benjamin thought to himself ‘I’ve got that old kite in the shed – maybe Ill go fly that into the winds of the storm that’s brewing’. We’re so proud that we are an incidental footnote to that historical moment… 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 65) Who doesn’t love the Socceroos? Suddenly Everyone Is A Football Fan!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike asks about a famous basketballer, an infamous business type and a theme song from a 1980s TV show that became a hit - even though the show it was from didn’t really… Not many people know this but around the time of Marie Antoinette’s beheading she had just discovered podcasts and it’s fair to say she loved ours in particular. We received a letter from her basically saying ‘I’m a loyal listener and I think I’m about to be put to death – any chance of a rescue?’ Now, we love our listeners here so Mike immediately dispatched the 21 Questions Search and Rescue Mercenaries but sadly they arrived just a bit too late. But in Marie’s honour there’s a question in today’s ep about a French word. Best we can do at this late stage… 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker. 21 Questions (Ep 64) That Some Would Argue Should Have Been Ep 63 But Whatever!

In this Ep of 21 Questions by Trivia Tribe Mike will ask you about a city in Europe, a river in the USA and a pretty decent wall in China. Along the way Mike will say disparaging things about two female literary heroines and one former American president. It’s quite a lively episode! Not many people know this but Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture did not originally contain the cannon blasts for which it is now famous – but he knew it was missing something. Two days before the Overture’s first performance he was listening to this podcast and heard the question: Which homophone is both a large calibre weapon and a musical term for a round like 'Row Row Row Your Boat’? and he realised what the piece was missing! A quick trip to Guns ‘R Us and he was good to go! 21 Questions is hosted by comedian and trivia host Mike van Acker.
