    Emotional Intelligence (06.05.26)

Today we talked about Emotional Intelligence — and why it may be one of the most important skills in business, leadership, relationships, and especially real estate sales. Because real estate is never just about houses. We’re dealing with:• stress• money• timelines• fear• family dynamics• uncertainty• and major life decisions And emotionally intelligent people understand something powerful:  People want to feel HEARD before they are guided. We discussed how emotional intelligence is not about being “nice” all the time — it’s about understanding emotions (both yours and other people’s) and responding intentionally instead of reactively. A few key reminders from today’s conversation:  Pause before reacting Listen to understand, not just to respond Stay calm without absorbing everyone else’s emotions Build trust instead of just trying to “close” Self-awareness changes everything In real estate especially, clients remember how you made them feel. Did they feel pressured?Dismissed?Judged?Ignored? Or did they feel:safe, heard, understood, and professionally guided? The agents and leaders who thrive long-term are often the ones who know how to stay grounded under pressure, communicate clearly, regulate emotions, and lead with empathy. And the good news?Emotional intelligence is a skill. It can absolutely be developed. So today’s challenge was simple:Before reacting… pause. Before assuming… ask questions. And remember that every conversation is an opportunity to build trust. Thanks for spending your morning with us.

    Halftime Reset. Refocus. (06.01.26)

Today we talked about June 1st being a HALFTIME reset for the year. Whether the first half of the year went exactly how you hoped… or not… the second half is still being written. You still have time. You still have opportunity. You still have the ability to shift momentum. We discussed how summer is incredibly important — especially in real estate. ☀️ What you do this summer sets up your fall business.☀️ The conversations you have now become closings later.☀️ The habits you build now shape how you feel later. We also talked about the importance of:👉 Sustained effort with intentional downtime👉 Staying consistent without burning out👉 Protecting your energy while still moving forward👉 Enjoying your life WITHOUT disappearing from your goals A few reminders from this morning:• Don’t drift through summer and panic in September• Small consistent actions compound over time• Your future is being built quietly in your daily routines• Balance and rhythm are more sustainable than extremes And maybe this month is the perfect time to fortify your mindset and habits again with a great book like Atomic Habits or The Miracle Morning. Not because you need to become someone new…but because you may need to reconnect with the version of you that feels focused, disciplined, healthy, grounded, and intentional. So today ask yourself:✨ What’s working that I need to continue?✨ What’s NOT working that I need to adjust?✨ Where have I drifted?✨ What habits do I need to recommit to? The second half of your year is being built RIGHT NOW. Keep showing up.Keep repeating.Keep growing. 💛

The 4 Stages of Learning (05.28.26)

Today we talked about the Four Stages of Learning — and why so many people are way too hard on themselves while they’re growing. Whether it’s real estate, leadership, health, business, video, lead generation, or life in general… growth is usually uncomfortable before it becomes natural. We walked through the 4 stages:  Unconscious Incompetence“I don’t know what I don’t know.”The ignorance is bliss stage. Conscious Incompetence“Wow… this is harder than I thought.”This is where struggle, awkwardness, and growth begin. Conscious CompetenceYou can do it… but you still have to think about it, rehearse it, and intentionally practice it. Unconscious CompetenceThis is mastery. The skill becomes natural because you’ve repeated it enough times. One of the biggest reminders from today:  Struggle does not mean failure. Awkward does not mean incapable. Discomfort often means you’re learning. In real estate especially, we constantly compare our beginning to someone else’s mastery. You see someone crushing video, handling objections smoothly, listing luxury homes, or leading a big team… but you don’t see the years of repetition, mistakes, practice, and uncomfortable growth that built those skills. So if things feel uncomfortable right now…GOOD. You are probably growing. Give yourself some grace.Keep practicing.Keep repeating.Keep showing up. One day the thing that feels awkward now will feel natural later.
