Next 90: A welcome break, big thanks to Tyler

Big things are ahead for Tyler, and this is sadly his last show, but before he says farewell -- and Laurel gives a big thanks for helping get this podcast started -- there's still FC Cincinnati topics to discuss. (And the show will continue even with Tyler departing.) Laurel and Tyler recap the latest news and notes surrounding the Orange and Blue, including another resetting of the bar on the team's playoff potential, a welcome break for the FIFA international window and the potential availability of all three summer signings next week at Atlanta United. You'll also hear clips of interviews with Nick Hagglund and Roman Celentano, and we wrap up with a Patreon Press Pass segment with both of those players answering a fan question. Subscribe on Patreon to submit your questions for a player or coach to be tossed into the mix for a future segment. This episode is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube. Like and subscribe to our Queen City Press channels! Special thanks to Hoist for sponsoring the show and to local band Disturbance for providing our new intro and outro music, "Do You Wanna Know About FCC?", which they created based on their original song, "Do You Wanna Go?" -- available on Spotify and Apple Music. [PREVIEW] Insider Show Ep. 185: Breaking through the confusion

FC Cincinnati dropped a stunning 3-1 loss at CF Montreal on Saturday in a game the opponent originally tried to get postponed because of concerns for player safety with just three outfield players available on the bench due to injuries and international duty for 12 others. Laurel and Eric discuss the confusion over lack of energy and confidence, where the club goes from here and will FCC even make the playoffs at this point? Plus, an interview with goalkeepers coach Paul Rogers (if the sound of Laurel's voice sounds off, it's the tradeoff of using an enhancement program to eliminate background noise and echoing). Rogers spoke about homegrown GK Connor Dale, how he evaluates Roman Celentano behind a struggling defense, Paul Walters' loan and more. [PREVIEW] Insider Show Ep. 183: Squirrel!

Steve the Squirrel invaded the pitch and became a nice distraction for the crowd watching FC Cincinnati trail Charlotte FC on Saturday before the Orange and Blue rallied in stoppage time for a 3-3 draw. We discuss the match, why there were mixed feelings about the result, the squirrel and some other news surrounding the club, including the pursuit of an NWSL franchise, the latest with Matt Miazga and Stiven Jimenez's loan. You'll also hear interviews with Nick Hagglund and MHTC head groundskeeper John Thomas, who reports the squirrel he chased off the pitch is alive and well. [PREVIEW] Insider Show: The Miazga fallout

FC Cincinnati's game against D.C. United was postponed after almost three hours of delay, but that was probably a good thing for the team now dealing with the departure of Matt Miazga on top of Sami Gidi being unavailable due to concussion protocols. That saga with Miazga's exit is still being sorted out, and we discuss in this episode why that is. This is a shorter episode due to the holiday (and our daughter's birthday), but should clear some things up for listeners.
