Episode 2: Small-Town Roots, Big Media Impact: Pamela Valdez’s Journey to Working with Top Brands

Pamela Valdez is a NJ-based content creator (60K+ followers), entrepreneur, and founder of Valdez Agency, a media company that blends digital media, community, and content to empower the next generation of creatives and professionals.  Growing up, she was inspired by entrepreneurs on Shark Tank and creators on YouTube, always wishing she could live “in between” the worlds of creativity and business. At the time, she didn’t see that path existed. Her journey began at The Fashion Institute of Technology in 2020, where she balanced 6+ internships, part-time jobs, and daily content creation while launching my first business. In 2021, she started Valdez Agency as a side hustle managing social media accounts. Since then, it has evolved into a media company and resource space for students, post-grads, and creatives looking to grow personally and professionally. Alongside building her agency, she's developed a strong personal brand, collaborating with over 150 brands across industries including tech, beauty, lifestyle, CPG, and food and beverage. "As a first-generation Latina, I’m passionate about representation and hope my story serves as a blueprint for other young Latinos and Hispanics, showing them they can thrive in both creativity and business while building lives and careers they’re proud of."Connect with Pamela on IG:https://www.instagram.com/pamelamvaldez/Learn about Valdez Agency:https://thevaldezagency.com/Connect with Dhara on IG:https://www.instagram.com/itsdharasinghConnect with Dhara on LinkedIn:https://www.linkedin.com/in/dharasingh/Want to collaborate/sponsor an episode? info@storybydhara.comLearn about Stories to Sales:https://www.storybydhara.com/Subscribe to all our inspiring episodes!
