    Being a Lion

A weary lion turns to journaling as he navigates the hilarious indignities of savanna life, from uncooperative humans and a pacifist son to a overzealous park ranger ruining his cardio. Episode Overview: Life on the plains isn't all majestic roars and dramatic hunts—at least not for our disgruntled protagonist. In this episode, our narrator tries (and repeatedly fails) to strike up casual, polite friendships with local humans, who insist on screaming and running away regardless of his friendly intentions. Back at the den, domestic stress peaks as his young cub refuses to eat zebra, choosing instead to organize them into elaborate, circle-based lawn games. Unable to discipline the kid for fear of his terrifyingly stern wife, our lion turns his frustration toward the local park ranger, whose constant hand-outs of pre-harvested game are completely destroying his physical fitness and ruining his chances to show off. To top it all off, the lack of real hunting has given the local hyenas an unwarranted surge of confidence, pushing our favorite lion to the absolute edge of his patience. Jesus and Why

Episode Title: Jesus and Why Logline: As the Roman Empire’s industrial machine strips ancient forests, poisons global air, and turns creation into an extraction asset, a divine intervention is set into motion—sending Jesus into a world on the brink of ecological and spiritual collapse to deliver an urgent, system-altering warning. Episode Synopsis:  The Industrial Dawn: High in the troposphere, grey plumes of lead and silver pollution from Roman metallurgy drift across Europe, eventually settling into the pristine Greenland ice sheets. Across Judea, vast oak and cedar forests fall to Roman axes to feed imperial bathhouses, war fleets, and mining operations. Human sin is no longer local—it has evolved into a globalized engine of environmental extraction.  The Cosmic Shift: Observing the unprecedented scale of creation’s destruction, the Divine foresees the ultimate trajectory of human civilization: the industrial expansion of the 1st century laying the groundwork for the modern crisis of the 21st. To save humanity from destroying its earthly home and its own soul, a counter-narrative is planted directly into the heart of history.  A Message of Stewardship: Jesus of Nazareth walks through a Levant devastated by imperial over-consumption. Standing amid clear-cut hills and heavy taxation, he preaches radical restraint—warning against hoarding treasure, calling for balance with nature, and reframing God not as an imperial landlord taking maximum yield, but as a loving vineyard keeper.  The Confrontation & Legacy: Jesus’ teachings threaten the economic machine of the Roman authorities and religious elite, culminating in his dramatic cleansing of the Temple and eventual execution on a wooden cross drawn from the very forests Rome exploited. Centuries later, as his simple robes brush against the ruined brickwork of the Colosseum, the episode leaves an enduring question: will modern civilization heed the warning planted in the ruins of the past? Holy Quake

Title: Holy Quake Logline / Story Overview Set against the real-world catastrophe of the magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck off the coast of East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, Holy Quake follows the survivors of St. Peter Major Seminary (Ritapiret Seminary) in Sikka, Flores. At today 05:58 WITA, as the ground ruptures, the facade of spiritual absolute safety is shattered in seconds. When the assembly hall roof buckles during morning mass, a group of nuns breaks into a panicked sprint into the courtyard to dodge falling concrete. Upstairs, a priest finds his escape route blocked by collapsed masonry. Confronted with imminent death, abstract ideals of martyrdom—the quiet surrender of being a sacrifice offered through Jesus—vanish alongside any pious fear of God. Driven by pure, instinctual self-preservation, he chooses survival over prayer and leaps from a second-story window, shattering his leg upon landing. As the survivors gather in the dusty courtyard, Holy Quake explores the profound psychological illusion that an earthquake is a direct, apocalyptic message from God, forcing the community to navigate the complex reflection required to rebuild their lives, their faith, and their understanding of human nature in the aftermath. Core Narrative Elements  Setting & Event: St. Peter Major Seminary (Ritapiret Seminary), Sikka, Flores, Indonesia. Magnitude 7.7 earthquake at 05:58 WITA.  Inciting Incident: The sudden collapse of the assembly hall roof during morning mass forces the nuns and seminarians into an immediate, instinctual flight for survival.  Climax of the Escape: Trapped on the second floor with falling debris around him, the priest abandons passive prayer and traditional theological concepts of sacrifice, jumping out the window and breaking his leg on the ground below.  Central Theme: Deconstructing the illusion of divine omen in natural disasters and reflecting on human self-preservation as a raw, essential form of grace.
