    Week 3- HONESTY

Honesty, books, brilliant conversations and a dash of spice! 📚🍛 In this week's episode of The Download, Mr Bates and the student presenters explore our new Character Quality for October: Honesty. What does it really mean to be honest? Is honesty just about telling the truth, or is it also about taking responsibility, admitting mistakes and doing the right thing when nobody is watching? Our presenters discuss real-life situations from around school and challenge listeners to think about the choices they make every day. We also reflect on Mrs McChesney's inspiring assembly about the love of reading, exploring how books help us grow our imaginations, build knowledge and understand the world through different perspectives. Plus, we're celebrating National Curry Week, discovering how food can connect cultures and communities. 🎧 In this episode: 📖 October Character Quality: Honesty  📚 The power and joy of reading  🐵 Metacognition Monkeys and learning from mistakes  🐱 Curiosity Cats and book discussions  🍛 National Curry Week  ☔ Autumn weather reminders  🍎 Healthy break-time snacks As always, we'll finish with a moment of reflection and a challenge to take into the week ahead.
