S1E7 UNIONS! The Musical | Newsies

Welcome, students, to unions and class solidarity 101 with Professor Rodgers. Today we will be covering tapdancing and the power of The News and its Boys.

  2. Aug 8

BONUS EPISODE | The Three Musketeers (1993)

Stephanie tests her theory that The Three Musketeers is better suited to film, by forcing Nicole to watch the 1993 version. It is possible that this has not aged well.

  3. Jun 4

S1E5 There are FOUR! | The Three Musketeers

Nicole reads teenage-Stephanie’s favourite book and is outraged about the false advertising of the ‘three’ musketeers, while Stephanie side-eyes her teenage-self’s taste.

  4. Apr 19

S1E4 Cathy did nothing WRONG | The Last Five Years

The time-shifted narratives of an estranged couple which you'd think would offer some interesting challenges to the safe assumption men are trash, but simply confirms that men are in fact trash.

S1E3 Go, Thunder Child, Go! | The War of The Worlds

With many a tangent and offtopic rant, Stephanie and Nicole discuss H G Wells' seminal (I'm going to keep using that word) 1898 novel, The War of the Worlds. Colonialism! Two named women characters if you count their shared surname! The indomitable spirit of the British rail worker!

S1E3 Go, Thunder Child, Go! | The War of The Worlds

  6. Mar 6

S1E2 The Eliza and Angelica Show | Hamilton The Musical

Setting the bar for our first musical episode and boy, it turns out Stephanie has *thoughts* about duels, and Nicole covers barely 10% of the annotations in her personal Hamiltome. For your delight and information, here's The Rubric:

  7. Feb 13

S1E1 Welcome to the Chorus | Pride and Prejudice

Stephanie and Nicole try their hands at this whole podcasting thing, and have Thoughts about honesty, growth, class, dating advice for men and how irritating Lydia is.
