    Danie sits down with old friend Jimmy Chuang — English teacher, Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach, and the person behind Source Combatives. They pick up after losing touch around COVID: Jimmy’s years in China teaching English for a visa while learning to teach BJJ in Chinese, three lockdowns inside a xiaogu, 20 weeks of cooking, selling Bitcoin to get through it, then a three-month trip around China including Inner Mongolia. He talks about why he chose BJJ, what he sees in kids who are afraid to make mistakes, and the rural school that failed — except for one 14-year-old who went on to beat adults. That problem is what led to Source Combatives: software and video curriculum so small gyms can exist outside big cities.
