    Think about the last time a friend hurt you. Maybe she stopped talking to you. Maybe she talked about you behind your back. Or maybe she slowly drifted away and you never knew why. In part 2 of our conversation on healthy friendships, Coach Jamie and teen co-hosts Kayleigh, Rosie, and Sadie pick up right where they left off, getting honest about the pain of losing friends and why friendship is still worth the risk. One of the girls shares what it felt like when her friends left her all at once, why chasing after people never works, and how God replaced those friendships with better ones.     How to Make Friends (Even If You’re Shy) | Friendship Series

    Making friends is hard, especially if talking to people you don’t know terrifies you. Coach Jamie knows that feeling well. In this episode, she shares how one simple nudge from the Holy Spirit pulled her out of her comfort zone, and how it can do the same for you. We look at three friendships from the Bible that changed lives: Mary and Elizabeth (a friend who cheers you on when you’re walking toward Jesus), Ruth and Naomi (a friend who stays when there’s nothing in it for her), and Barnabas and Paul (a friend who takes a chance on someone nobody else will). Then Coach Jamie walks you through the CARE method she still uses today: Connect, Ask questions, Relate, and Encourage, with two real-life examples from youth group and homeschool co-op.
