How to Find Certainty in Uncertain Times

We're living in a time where it's becoming increasingly difficult to know what's true. Information is constant, conflicting, and easily manipulated (through AI, media narratives, and bill!onaire interests shaping the direction of reality itself). There are loud, monied influences that would like you to believe the world is moving one particular way, and to buy into that story. And if you don't have something else to ground into, it's disorienting. As old paradigms dissolve and the ground seems to be shifting under your feet, it's very easy to get pulled into external narratives and lose your sense of clarity. So how do we prevent ourselves from being swept up? What do we use to inform our decisions when logic and perception feel unreliable? In this episode, I explore intuition as the voice of the soul, and how to build a relationship with it. I talk about choosing a method to connect with your intuition, how to ask clear and honest questions, and how to interpret the answers through the body. Our minds are powerful, but they are meant to be used as a tool to serve something deeper. As this episode drops on Earth Day, it's a reminder that this intelligence is part of everything. The more we learn to listen, the more clearly we can move through this transition into New Earth. In this episode, 🧭Guidance in the chaos: Making aligned decisions in the information overload, and this moment as an invitation to go within 🗝️Learning the language: Practical ways to connect with your intuition: how to ask, receive answers, and interpret signals through the body 👁️The body-soul relationship: As humanity learns to listen within, we access guidance from higher intelligence, both internally and beyond Dive Deeper: Read Journey of Souls: https://bookshop.org/a/120651/9781567184853 Stay connected: @newhumansfornewearth on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook & YouTube www.newhumansfornewearth.com New episodes every Wednesday By accessing this Podcast, I acknowledge that the entire contents are the property of New Humans for New Earth, or used by New Humans for New Earth with permission, and are protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. Imagining Life Beyond Money with Karl Wallace

This episode drops on Tax Day, which makes it the perfect moment to take a closer look at money. How it shapes our lives, and how it influences the way we define value, security, freedom, and success. We explore the ways that money impacts our relationships, decisions, society at large, and ask whether the system we rely on is really the only way to live, or just the most familiar one. I'm joined by Karl Wallace, a builder, welder, self-proclaimed bike geek, and mechanical artist who is dedicating his life to creating alternatives. His work focuses on helping people live more independently and sustainably, from rethinking transportation to experimenting with alternative fuel and off-grid systems. We talk about why those options aren't widely promoted, how to creatively work within and around existing structures, and why investing in sustainability can be a form of future-proofing your life. In this episode, 🧠 How money shapes us: the influence on our values, relationships and sense of security 🛠️ Alternatives to full dependence on traditional systems: exploring more self-reliant ways to live and power our lives 🔄 Investing in the future: as the old systems begin to crumble, now is the time to be less dependent on the grid and more intentional with keeping money in your community Support your local credit union! Finding the Light in Dark Times with Gabriel Torres

In this moment of seemingly endless stories of violence, chaos, and environmental destruction, it’s easy to feel disheartened. To feel overwhelmed by darkness and pessimistic about where we’re headed. In this episode, we explore the idea that either everything is sacred and magnificently orchestrated or nothing is. Gifted tattoo artist Gabriel Torres -owner and tattooist at Shamanic ink- is back for another episode to continue our exploration of what it means to be a New Human. We discuss how to find your center beneath the noise and chaos. And how this heavy (yet transformative) moment may be the beginning of a more conscious New Earth. As old structures begin to unravel, today is an opportunity to choose connection, community, and a more conscious way of living. Book an appointment with Gabriel Torres, or simply check out some great art, at @shamanicinkpdx on Instagram, or by visiting Shamanicink.com. APR 1

Conscious Consumption in an Abundant World

I used to think thrifting was something you did until you could afford not to. When I finally entered the workforce, I remember thinking, "Finally! I don't have to thrift anymore!" But the more I bought into fast fashion and buying new, the more I started to feel like a f****ng fool. 🥴 In this episode, I unpack why. From the fashion industry's massive environmental impact, to the sheer volume of waste generated every second, I take a closer look at the true cost of convenience. When we stop expecting instant gratification and start embracing secondhand as a kind of treasure hunt, buying directly from people, or donating within our communities, we keep resources circulating locally and reduce unnecessary waste. Join me in rethinking value in a system that equates success with spending, and recognizing that secondhand isn't a limitation but a smarter, more conscious way to tread a little lighter on this Earth. In this episode, 🛍️The state of the global clothing industry: Waste, pollution, exploitation & corporate greed 🪞Changing cultural expectations: The internal mindset shift to live secondhand life 🤝Thinking beyond thrift stores: Other options for clothing donations and resale that keep money in our communities Make your own laundry detergent: Ingredients: 2 cups Borax 2 cups washing soda 1 bar castile soap (grated) Grate the bar of castile soap into a bowl. Add 2 cups of Borax and 2 cups of washing soda and mix. Store in a good-sized, reusable container. Use 2 tablespoons per load of laundry. For smaller loads, just use 1 tablespoon. The Birds, the Bees, and the Future of Food with Nick Johnson

Bees and other pollinators sustain much of the food system we rely on every day. And they are facing massive pressures. From pesticide exposure and chemical-intensive agriculture to the fragmentation of habitat, the ecological consequences are becoming harder to ignore. As modern food production pushes for efficiency and profit, we are finding out what happens when these short-term gains come at the expense of the systems that sustain life. Today, Nick Johnson, a Natural Resource Manager & Senior Environmental Protection Specialist, joins me in his personal capacity to explore the world of pollinators and why their health matters to us all. We examine pollinator population decline and the role these species play in sustaining ecosystems & food systems. We also zoom out to the larger systems impacting our long-term food security. There is a path forward: Restoring pollinator habitat helps to rebuild strong ecosystems for bees, for us, and for New Earth. This episode: 🐝Causes of bee population decline & why it matters for our food system 🌾How pesticides & habitat fragmentation affect pollinators (and us) 🌱Earth's regenerative power & how restoring habitats makes a difference The opinions expressed by the guest are made in his personal capacity & do not reflect the position of any government office or agency Turn off iPhone AI search results! MAR 18

Rebuilding Human Connection for New Earth

Today's society is more connected than ever, and yet many of us feel profoundly alone. Our culture is increasingly mediated by devices, fear, and social fragmentation, and mega-corporations are profiting off it. In this episode, we discuss how social isolation affects not only individual mental and physical health, but also the health of our communities. When this disconnection erodes trust, it becomes much harder for us to work collectively to face the challenges ahead, whether that means surviving climate disasters, strengthening our communities, or building the foundations of New Earth. This is a formal invitation to begin reweaving the social fabric. There are simple but meaningful ways to reconnect with the people around us. Making eye contact, sharing small acts of kindness, and remembering that we are all manifestations of the same divine consciousness all start as simple mindset shifts. If the future we hope to create is rooted in resilience, love, and care, then rebuilding human connection is one of the most important places to start. In this episode, 📊The state of loneliness today: what the data shows about rising social isolation and the impacts on our bodies, minds, and communities 🧩Why loneliness is more than a personal struggle: how widespread disconnection erodes trust and weakens our ability to face collective challenges together 💞Practical ways to reconnect: I offer simple social practices that can help us rebuild connection in our daily lives Self hugs are self love! Local Food, Local Power with Scheereen Dedman

What have we lost in exchange for having every food available, all the time? In a food system based on quantity and convenience, things like flavor, nutrition, food diversity, and human connection are compromised. As control over our food supply becomes increasingly concentrated in the hands of mega-corporations, I ask: how do we opt out of that system? And how, instead, do we opt in to supporting the farmers who actually grow our food? In this episode, I sit down with Scheereen Dedman, a board member of the Port Orchard Farmers Market, to talk about a powerful alternative to big-box grocery stores: farmers markets. Scheereen is also co-owner of Sierra Serenity, a shop that specializes in natural home and self-care, as well as tea blends that are delicious (I can say from experience!). From building community to keeping the market accessible, we discuss the variety of vendors you'll find at the market, and why produce that's grown locally often tastes better and can be more affordable than what's on big-box shelves. Follow Scheereen Dedman and Sierra Serenity @thesierraserenity on Instagram or www.sierraserenity.com for homemade botanicals! We explore 📉The downside of mass-sourcing our food: How mega-corporations' profit margins have left behind food safety, biodiversity, & taste 🤝How farmers markets fill the gaps in quality, access, & community: Modern grocery stores are a recent invention. We don't need to treat them like the norm. 💜How to support small businesses: We follow Scheereen's journey as a business owner and explore how markets create meaningful community connections 🌍How to make markets more sustainable & accessible: Combatting mass-production requires leading by our own example Big Ten Food Brands: https://www.oxfamamerica.org/explore/stories/these-10-companies-make-a-lot-of-the-food-we-buy-heres-how-we-made-them-better/ Visit the Portland Orchard Farmer's Market! Opting out of Big Garbage: Practical Action in an Imperfect System

In this episode, I explore the scale of what I call: Big Garbage. I attempt to break down the unfathomable size of our country’s waste problem, what keeps it alive, and the devastating effects it has on our planet. I invite you to get educated about the systems in your area, and explore ways to opt out through new habits including composting, recycling right, and rethinking your consumption habits. The waste management systems we have today are not perfect. But by not using them to our advantage, we are perpetuating the damage they cause. New systems start with informed people. So let's arm ourselves with knowledge and engage in the type of actions that will support the emergence of New Earth. There are countless ways to lessen harm and redirect the flow.🫶 In this episode, we explore: ✨How to recycle the right way: We cannot continue to get by on 'wishful' recycling or 'good enough'. It's important to know how to use the current systems to our advantage, as we work to build new ways. 🌱Accessible composting options: Let's honor the cycle by giving back to the Earth. We have a responsibility to fight food waste by closing the loop. 📣What to do if these systems don't exist in your neighborhood: Not every home has access to the same systems. This episode shares practical options you can use right where you are. From Awakening to Action: Embodying New Earth with Gabriel Torres

Is there really anything to "do" to co-create New Earth? In today’s episode, I sit down with incredibly gifted tattoo artist Gabriel Torres, owner and tattooist at Shamanic Ink, to explore this question. Together, we examine the relationship between being love and acting from love. The importance of bringing your spiritual ideals and moral compass to your daily life; creating a ripple effect of change from even your smallest choices and actions. This is an honest conversation about awakening without bypassing. And Gabriel says it best: “You have to put into action what you want to be manifested.” If your spirituality isn’t informing how you show up in the world, what is it doing? We all have a part to play. Book an appointment with Gabriel Torres or simply check out some great art at @shamanicinkpdx on Instagram or visit Shamanicink.com In this episode, we explore: 🌅From awakening to activation: How we discover our role as New Humans.
