Episode 14: God Is Shaping You: Becoming More Than You Ever Imagined

Waiting can be one of the hardest parts of any healing journey. Whether you're waiting for physical healing, emotional restoration, financial breakthrough, or answers to long-awaited prayers, it's easy to wonder if God has forgotten you. But what if your waiting isn't wasted? In this episode of Healing God's Way, we'll explore how God used seasons of waiting to prepare some of the Bible's most faithful servants—including David, Joseph, Hannah, and Abraham. Their stories remind us that God's delays are not His absence. Often, He is doing His greatest work within us before He changes what is around us. As I share some of my own healing journey, I've come to realize that while I often focus on where I want God to take me, He is gently asking a different question: "Who are you becoming while you wait?" If you've ever felt discouraged because your healing seems to be taking longer than expected, I pray this episode will encourage you to trust that God is still working—even when you can't yet see the results. Scripture References: • 1 Samuel 16–24 (David) • Genesis 37–50 (Joseph) • 1 Samuel 1 (Hannah) • Genesis 12–21 (Abraham & Sarah) • Romans 5:3–5 • James 1:2–4 • Isaiah 40:31 Remember, God is often more interested in who you are becoming than simply where you are going. Healing God's Way—because true wellness begins with Him.   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust. God's Invitation to Healing: Do You Want to Be Well?

In John Chapter 5, Jesus approaches a man who had been suffering for 38 years and asks what seems like a strange question: "Do you want to get well?" (John 5:6) Of course he wanted healing...or did he? In this heartfelt episode of Healing God's Way, we take a deeper look at this powerful encounter and explore what Jesus may have really been asking. Sometimes the greatest obstacle to healing isn't our illness, our circumstances, or even our past. Sometimes it's the beliefs we've carried about ourselves for years. Do we truly believe God sees us? Do we believe our future matters? Do we believe we are worthy of healing, restoration, and hope? Join me as I share personal reflections on feeling unseen, struggling with worthiness, and learning to see myself through God's eyes rather than through the wounds of my past. If you've ever felt stuck, overlooked, or wondered if healing is really possible for you, this episode is for you. Scripture References: • John 5:1-15 • Romans 5:8 • Ephesians 2:10 • Psalm 139:14 Remember, healing begins when we stop arguing with God about our worth and start agreeing with Him. Healing God's Way—because true wellness begins with Him.   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust. Episode 12: God is Still Working: Trusting Him Through the Healing Plateau

Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things on your healing journey, yet nothing seems to be changing? You're praying. You're making healthier choices. You're taking your supplements. You're moving your body. You're trusting God. And yet, you feel stuck. If that sounds familiar, you're not alone. In this episode of Healing God's Way, we explore one of the most frustrating—and most common—parts of healing: the plateau. Using the powerful analogy of hiking a mountain, we'll discuss why the flat places in our journey are not dead ends, but opportunities to rest, grow stronger, and prepare for what's ahead. Sometimes what feels like a lack of progress is actually a season of preparation where God is working beneath the surface. In this episode, you'll learn: 🌿 What a healing plateau really is 🌿 Why plateaus are a normal part of healing 🌿 What God may be doing during seasons of waiting 🌿 How to stay encouraged when progress feels slow 🌿 Practical steps to keep moving forward without giving up We also reflect on: 📖 Galatians 6:9 📖 Isaiah 40:31 📖 James 1:2-4 I also share a personal update on my own healing journey with my knee and how God is teaching me to trust Him in the "meadow" between where I started and where I hope to be. If you've been feeling discouraged, frustrated, or wondering whether your efforts are making a difference, this episode is a reminder that healing isn't always a straight climb—and that God is still working, even when you can't see it. 💛 Stay until the end for a special prayer for anyone walking through a season of waiting, uncertainty, or slow progress. 🎧 If this episode encourages you, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who may need this reminder today: The plateau is not the end of the journey. God is still working. Healing God's Way—because true wellness begins with Him. ✝️🌿💛   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust. Episode 11: Stronger Together: Why God Designed Us for Support

In this episode of Healing God's Way, we explore one of the most important—and often overlooked—parts of the healing journey: having a healthy support system. God never intended for us to walk through life's challenges alone. Whether you're facing health struggles, emotional wounds, stress, grief, or uncertainty, the people around you can have a profound impact on your healing. In this heartfelt episode, I share a deeply personal part of my own story—a time when I desperately needed support and felt completely alone. Through that experience, I learned how important encouragement, community, and God's presence truly are. In this episode, we discuss: 💛 Why healing was never meant to be a solo journey 💛 How healthy relationships support emotional, spiritual, and physical healing 💛 What can happen when we try to heal in isolation 💛 The difference between supportive people and draining relationships 💛 Practical ways to begin building a healthy support system 💛 Why encouragement is one of the greatest gifts we can give one another We also reflect on: 📖 Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 📖 Hebrews 10:24-25 📖 Proverbs 27:17 📖 Galatians 6:2 If you've ever felt lonely, unseen, unsupported, or wondered if anyone understands what you're going through, this episode is for you. 💛 Stay until the end for a special prayer over those who are walking through a season of loneliness and longing for deeper connection. 🎧 If this episode encourages you, please subscribe, leave a review, and share it with someone who needs a reminder that they do not have to walk their healing journey alone.   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust. Episode 10: God's Plans, Your Future: Why Goal Setting Matters in Healing

In this episode of Healing God's Way, we explore how goal setting can become a powerful tool for healing, hope, and moving forward with purpose. In this episode, we discuss: ✨ Why goals matter in the healing journey ✨ The connection between hope and healing ✨ How small goals create momentum and confidence ✨ Why progress is more important than perfection ✨ Trusting God's plans even when the future feels uncertain ✨ Practical ways to set realistic, healing-focused goals We also reflect on: 📖 Jeremiah 29:11 📖 Proverbs 16:3 📖 Philippians 3:13–14 I also share a personal dream of one day walking the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage route through Spain, and how that dream reminds me that every meaningful journey begins with one small step. In this episode of Healing God’s Way, we explore one of the most overlooked parts of the healing journey: mindset. Our thoughts affect so much more than we realize. Fear, stress, hopelessness, shame, and negative thinking can deeply impact our emotional, spiritual, and even physical well-being. Episode 8: Honoring God Through Movement: Gentle Ways to Support Healing

In this episode of Healing God’s Way, we continue building a gentle foundation for healing by talking about movement—not from a place of pressure or punishment, but from a place of stewardship and grace. Many women feel overwhelmed by fitness culture, discouraged by where their body is today, or exhausted before they even begin. But healing does not require perfection or intense workouts. Sometimes it begins with one small step… one walk… one stretch… one decision to care for the body God created. In this episode, we discuss: Why movement matters for healing How movement supports stress, mood, and energy The connection between movement and the nervous system Gentle ways to begin moving again Letting go of shame and perfectionism around exercise Honoring the body as stewardship, not punishment We also reflect on: 📖 3 John 1:2 📖 Hebrews 12:11 📖 1 Corinthians 6:19–20 This episode is a reminder that healing often happens through small, faithful steps repeated over time. 💛 Stay until the end for a peaceful prayer over your healing journey. 🎧 If this episode encouraged you, please share it with someone who may need hope and encouragement today.   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust. Episode 7: Nourishing the Body God Created: Why Supplements Matter for Healing

In this episode of Healing God’s Way, we continue the conversation from last week’s episode on fasting and prayer by exploring another important tool for healing: nourishment and supplementation. Many women today are doing their best to eat healthy, yet still feel exhausted, depleted, inflamed, or stuck in their healing journey. In this episode, we talk about why our bodies may need more support than ever before due to chronic stress, nutrient-depleted soil, environmental toxins, poor sleep, and modern-day lifestyles. You’ll learn: Why supplements can help fill nutritional gaps How stress depletes important nutrients in the body Why quality matters when choosing supplements A gentle, simple approach to supporting your health The Biblical perspective of caring for the body as stewardship I also share part of my own healing journey and why I personally trust the same high-quality USANA supplements that Dr. Theresa has used in her practice for years. This episode is not about fear or perfection—it’s about learning how to wisely support the body God created. 💛 Stay until the end for a peaceful prayer over your health and healing journey. 🎁 I’ll also include links in the show notes to the supplements and resources mentioned in today’s episode.   If you’re looking for simple, high-quality nutrition to support your health journey, I’d love to share what I personally use and trust.
