Reasons I Feel Like a Failure When Fighting Trump’s B******t

Man, it was a rough one in my head today. There’s often a tornado of anger, self-doubt, and anxiety whipping around my brain. Donald Douchecanoe’s constant f*****y ensures that I’m thinking about my Substack and the words I write and speak daily. I frequently worry that I’m not doing a good enough job here. Or progressing in a forward, growing way. I hate that. My self-doubt is ridiculous to most people. I’m doing well on the platform, but 2026 hasn’t brought nearly the amount of growth as the first year and a half, when I was gaining subscribers like crazy. I still don’t have the answers as to why. But I’m working on it. And trying not to let it derail me. I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. This thing I do 80 hours a week isn’t easy. If it were, everyone would be doing it. I tell myself to trust the process and to be patient when things aren’t progressing the way I want them to. I’ll keep attempting to do my best. It’s essential. I cannot allow myself to get burned out and give up. There is too much on the line with Pedolf Shitler’s fascist ambitions. Together, we can stop him and bring him to justice. His entire criminal regime, too. I want to see those traitorous f***s swing. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. F**k That Lying Piece of Gaslighting Shit, Traitor Trump

I was all set to talk about something completely different on today’s podcast episode. I’d thought it through. I had a few things worth mentioning, at least in my mind. But it wasn’t meant to be, at least today. Trump happens. Sadly, this happens more days than it doesn’t. And I f*****g hate it. I’d love to purposely pass on writing or talking about Chin Jong Un. But I end up getting so fired up and pissed off about his latest douchebaggery that I end up pivoting and calling an audible. He gets too much of my attention. I talk about this struggle in today’s podcast episode. Perhaps someday it will be easier to ignore his self-created daily drama. I’d love to quit talking about Mango Mussolini entirely. I’m just not at that point yet. Perhaps once he drops dead. It will be awesome to write about his funeral and the week-long party celebrating it afterward. And then I’ll finally be free to focus on the things I want to. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate. What Exactly Does True Freedom Look Like?

I was thinking about the idea of freedom this morning. This came about because I was somewhat dreading a family obligation. I slept for shit last night. I’m tired, worn down, and somewhat burned out. The 80 hours or so that I spend on Substack and all that comes with growing a movement can be brutal. I’m blessed to do this for a living, but it comes with a trade-off. A self-imposed, undgodly amount of hours I put into it to succeed. But that’s freedom, to me. I don’t have to do this part-time. I’m not working for some dick-slap who doesn’t value me and only uses me to earn his/her company money. I’m very happy working for myself, even if I put in too much unpaid overtime. So please consider a paid subscription for $2 monthly. It helps me survive and thrive. Mooch likes the peanut butter bones she gets from you guys, too! I talk about what it’s like to have freedom and the different types of it in today’s podcast episode. I’m going to head out and do the right thing by my family, even if I’m worn out. I pride myself on being a good son, husband, and father. I’ll always do the right thing, even when I don’t feel like it. And I have that freedom of choice, working for myself as a writer, podcaster, and content creator. You all make that possible with your kind generosity. Thank you so very much. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate. I Always Figured That I’d Be a Cool Grandpa

At 51, I sometimes wonder if I’ll ever get the opportunity to be somebody’s grandpa. It’s looking less and less likely. None of my young adult children are in relationships. They’re more focused on their futures. My girls are still in college. One has no interest in dating. My youngest daughter is gay. There would be several extra steps for her to become a mother. Time will tell. And I’m at peace with the idea of not being a grandpa. If it happens in the future, I may be too old to enjoy it. I talk about this in today’s episode. A random, brief encounter in my neighborhood this afternoon has me thinking about the topic. Let me tell you about it today. I appreciate you lending me your ears for this one. I’d love to hear some of your thoughts about it in the comments. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate. The Tragedy of Someone Younger Than Me Dying

Man, I hate it when someone younger dies. I read about a 33-year-old actress who just passed away. It hit me hard, even though I really didn’t recognize her. That isn’t the point. For me, it’s odd when someone younger than me passes away. It’s a reminder of my own mortality. I’m grateful I’ve made it this far, despite a couple of close calls. I very much value every day I have with my friends and loved ones. I talk about this in today’s episode of our podcast. Death f***s with my head from time to time. I don’t like fixating on it. But it creeps back into my mind all too often. It helps to discuss it on our podcast when it’s bothering me. I appreciate you giving me an audience to do that for. Thank you for lending me your ears. You guys are all just the best. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate. I Need to Start Caring Less About Politics

I realized something this morning about politics. I need to quit caring so much about it. I had just wrapped up a wonderful conversation on the Substack Live I did with my friend Eevie and her husband, Derek. They’re so much fun. We had a blast just bullshitting and laughing together. I came out of it feeling rejuvenated and happy. Those feelings have sort of been few and far between for me, as of late. I put 80 to 85 hours a week into my Substack and all that goes along with it. That takes a toll on my mental health. I don’t enjoy reading about, writing about, and talking about Donald Douchecanoe constantly. He demands so much attention with his b******t daily drama. I need to stop giving him so much of my time. There are far better things to think about and do than constantly feed into his crap. This doesn’t mean that I’m giving up on covering politics. Quite the opposite. But I realize that I need to cover other topics to better entertain you all. And to keep my mental health balanced. I talk about this in today’s podcast episode. I appreciate you lending me your ears on this one. It means the world to me to have people who care about my well-being. I know that most of you will support this slight adjustment to my daily schedule. I wish the same for you, too. We all deserve better things. Especially in a country where our government has no interest in our well-being. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Laughs With The Mouthy Renegade Writer, A. Eevie Bateman, and The Omission

How in the f**k did a BLOW-UP DOLL steal the show? Well, you never know what can happen when you pair three humorous people together. Especially when we need a much-needed break from the political b******t we deal with daily. The three of us sure needed this type of fun. It was wonderful to chat with my good friend, A. Eevie Bateman, and her awesome husband, Derek. That was a much-needed break from the C**t of Mostly Crisco and his ridiculous, crazy f*****y for an hour and a half. We will certainly have to do this again. We hope you’ll enjoy this hilarious chat we had this morning. We appreciate you all so very much. I’m glad we could bring a little levity to this all-too-serious world we’re living in under the Fanta Führer. There are so many better things to talk about than his lawless, b******t drama. Please subscribe to Eevie and Derek. His Substack is called The Omission, and I’m certain you’ll enjoy them both. Thank you for lending us your ears on this one. And your eyes, too. We value and appreciate you all so much. © 2026 The Mouthy Renegade Writer. All rights reserved. Mooch thinks that you all deserve 50% off our paid subscription rate.
