If you really want to STAND OUT in ballet, stop trying to beat the competition & do this instead.

Have you ever worried that everyone is already miles ahead of you and there’s absolutely no space left for you? Today we're going to talk about why you don't have to worry about that. Because in reality, very few people actually start…and even fewer stay consistent long enough to get good. So in this episode, we break down:  Why the “competition” isn’t what you think it isHow most people never even try (or quit early)The difference between working hard and comparing yourself to others Why not getting what you want isn’t always a lossLearning to trust redirection instead of resisting itBecause sometimes disappointment is exactly what puts you where you need to be. If you’re starting ballet as an adult or struggling with comparison and scarcity mindset, this conversation will help you shift your focus back to what actually matters: your own path. 🎥 Watch the full episode on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL89lzsALZuYEvobuqHwHPF2vUO3KOeyzN 🩰 STARTING LATE?  Sign up for my FREE guide: The Late Bloomer's COMPLETE Guide to Your First Ballet Class (everything you need to know before, during & after no matter your age or where in the world you are) - https://mailchi.mp/83da9815d472/late-... 🩰 LOVE ADULT BALLET? ‘You’ll NEVER be a professional ballerina.’ Why this pointless advice gets you nowhere FAST.

You don’t have to want a contract with New York City Ballet to start ballet. In this video, I’m sharing reasons to start ballet that have nothing to do with going professional, especially if you’re an adult beginner wondering if it’s “too late.” Today we discuss:  Better posture and body awareness Improved mental clarity Finding community through dance Getting into the best physical shape of your life The undeniable aesthetic of balletBallet isn’t just about becoming a professional dancer and your ART has nothing to do with making money in the first place (even though there's nothing wrong with that!) It’s about finding a vessel of expression, joy, confidence, creativity, and building a stronger relationship with your body, mind and soul! 🩰 STARTING LATE?  Sign up for my FREE guide: The Late Bloomer's COMPLETE Guide to Your First Ballet Class (everything you need to know before, during & after no matter your age or where in the world you are) - https://mailchi.mp/83da9815d472/late-... 🩰 LOVE ADULT BALLET? If you're 'creative but lazy,' give me 30 minutes to reveal what's REALLY ruining your motivation.

You’re not lazy. If you’ve been struggling with motivation, ESPECIALLY when it comes to your goals, dreams, or starting ballet, there’s usually a deeper reason. In this week’s issue of What’s the F**king Point(e)?, we’re breaking down the real causes behind feeling unmotivated and how to actually fix them so you can get out of your creative rut for good. In this episode, we talk about:   Identifying the REAL reason you feel unmotivated Why “just try harder” doesn’t work The differences between discipline and burnout How your environment affects your consistency The power of surrounding yourself with inspiration Making your goals easier to start (instead of harder to avoid) Why support systems matter more than willpowerAnd much more! If you’re an aspiring ballerina, an adult beginner, or an artist trying to build better habits and creative discipline, this episode will help you shift from frustration to clarity. Motivation isn't a matter of luck. It's often a byproduct of circumstance and in time, becomes something you can CHOOSE.  🩰 NEW HERE? If you’re new here, welcome! I'm Veronica and I document my journey of starting ballet as an adult, along with the mindset shifts that turn your big dreams into your reality. If that resonates with you, subscribe! And if this episode helped you rethink your relationship with motivation, leave a review! I started ballet at 27 & ended up broke, divorced & RICHER than I ever imagined

At 27, I moved to New York City to start ballet for the very first time in my life. While it was an exhilarating experience filled with so much good, the past few years have also been full of unexpected obstacles to overcome: divorce, death, loss, an unlivable apartment, financial strain. This video is about what it actually looks like to pursue ballet as an adult even when life is crazyyyyy. As an adult ballerina training in NYC, I had to navigate grief, financial instability, and mental health and physical health struggles while still showing up to class. This is for the dancers who are struggling to find the motivation to continue to pursuing their dreams because adult life is so overwhelming. If you’re a ballerina rebuilding your life after divorce, an artist navigating financial uncertainty, or a dancer who started “late” but refuses to give up, this one is for you. In this video, I share: • What moving to New York to follow my ballet dream really cost • How personal loss and instability affected my mental health • Why adult ballet is as much emotional endurance as physical training • How I found meaning and purpose in the middle of the chaos If you’ve ever wondered whether it’s too late to start ballet at 27, or whether you can keep pursuing your dream even when it feels like everything is falling apart, this video is for you. I’m Veronica, an adult ballerina documenting what it looks like chase your dreams, take your passions seriously, even when no one understands why you’re doing it. If any of this episode resonated with you, subscribe for more honest conversations about adult ballet, mental health, and becoming who you are meant to be.
