#40 | Bohm Went Boom in Twin Cities Sweep

The Phillies are rolling — and for the first time in a while, it feels like the pieces are starting to come together.  After a frustrating stretch that left plenty of questions surrounding this team, the Phillies responded in a big way with a sweep of the Minnesota Twins on the road. Josh Liddick and Austin Myers break down what made this weekend so encouraging, from an offense that finally saw contributions throughout the lineup to a pitching staff that continues to give the Phillies a chance every night. With the postseason chase heating up and the Phillies back in the thick of the Wild Card race, is this the beginning of a late-season turnaround? Josh and Austin dive into Alec Bohm’s monster weekend, Bryson Stott’s continued resurgence, and Jesus Luzardo’s emergence as one of the hottest pitchers in baseball. The guys also discuss Andrew Painter’s encouraging stretch despite another rocky first inning and whether his electric stuff could make him a weapon down the stretch. Plus, a look at the potential impact Luis Arraez can have on the Phillies’ young hitters, the rise of top prospect Francisco Renteria, the latest buzz surrounding Alex Cora and the Phillies’ managerial future, and a huge week ahead at Citizens Bank Park against the Marlins and Cardinals. The postseason push is officially heating up. Can the Phillies keep the momentum going? #39 | Schwarber, Nola Shine in Phillies’ “Field of Dreams” Win

The Phillies endured a frustrating (and hot) midweek series loss to the St. Louis Cardinals before quickly traveling to Dyersville, Iowa for the MLB Field of Dreams game on Thursday night.  The dominant 7-1 win over the Minnesota Twins cast a more favorable light on a team that has lost six of eight series since the All-Star break.  Josh Liddick and Austin Myers break down a temperamental week of Phillies baseball, including one of Andrew Painter’s best outings of the season, Zack Wheeler’s continued struggles, and a star-filled offense that has struggled to consistently produce. The guys also discuss Kyle Schwarber’s recent power surge, including two home runs into the corn at the Field of Dreams; in addition to Aaron Nola’s encouraging run of late and whether the veteran right-hander is starting to look like himself again.  With just 41 games remaining and the Phillies on the edge of a playoff bid, Josh and Austin look ahead to the remainder of the weekend series in Minnesota and talk about what the Phillies need to accomplish down the stretch to qualify for an October run. #38 | No Rest for the Weary, Phillies Running on Empty

The Phillies barely survived a brutal weekend at home against the Blue Jays, but there are plenty of reasons for concern. Josh Liddick and Austin Myers break down the Phillies’ frustrating series, from missed opportunities with runners in scoring position and an overworked bullpen to some questionable decisions from Don Mattingly. With the Wild Card race tightening, the Phillies are officially in a fight just to make the postseason. The guys also discuss Chase Utley’s emotional Wall of Fame induction and the growing pressure on the current Phillies core to deliver the franchise’s first championship in 18 years. Plus, Bryson Stott is emerging as one of the team’s most important players, Jesús Luzardo continues to dominate, Aaron Nola reaches 2,000 career strikeouts, and the bullpen situation gets even more concerning. Can the Phillies turn things around before it’s too late? Josh and Austin break it all down ahead of a massive series against the Cardinals and Thursday’s Field of Dreams matchup with the Twins. #36 | Trade Deadline Live! Reacting to the Phillies’ Moves

The Phillies’ 2026 MLB Trade Deadline has come and gone, and Josh Liddick and Austin Myers are breaking down every major move — including the additions of Luis Arraez, Brooks Raley and Caleb Killian. The Phillies made a pair of notable trades to bolster their roster, but did Dave Dombrowski and the front office do enough to make Philadelphia a true World Series contender? Josh and Austin start with the Phillies’ biggest addition: Luis Arraez. How will Philadelphia fit the three-time batting champion into its defensive alignment, and where should Arraez hit in the lineup? The guys also examine what his elite contact skills could bring to an offense that has needed more consistency. The Phillies also added bullpen help in Brooks Raley, while Caleb Killian provides another intriguing pitching option. What do the newest additions mean for a Phillies bullpen that has been one of the team’s biggest areas of need? From there, Josh and Austin react to the biggest moves from around MLB Trade Deadline day, including the winners, losers and surprises that emerged as contenders scrambled to improve their rosters. But one question remains: Why didn’t the Phillies add a starting pitcher? The guys discuss the starting-pitching targets Philadelphia could have pursued, whether the rotation is good enough for October and the biggest remaining concerns on the roster. Finally, Josh and Austin give their Phillies Trade Deadline grades, react to a buzzer-beating minor-league move and look ahead to Philadelphia’s upcoming series against the Washington Nationals. #35 | Meltdown in Miami: What’s Next For The Phillies?

It feels like the Phillies hit rock bottom in Miami, getting swept by the Marlins in three brutal and completely different ways. Now, with the Trade Deadline just days away, the pressure is mounting. Josh is joined by Cory Nidoh (@cory_nidoh on X) of Philadelphia Sports Network and Metro Philly to break down the disastrous series, the Phillies' defensive and fundamental issues amid Trea Turner's ongoing struggles at shortstop. Josh and Cory also dive into Bryce Harper's public plea for the Phillies to add both an arm and a bat, the tension surrounding Harper, Don Mattingly and the front office, and whether this current Phillies core is actually built to win another World Series or is it time to blow it up? Plus, it's Trade Deadline talk: Which prospects are truly untouchable? Could Gage Wood or Ramon Marquez be moved? What about Francisco Renteria and Andrew Painter? And which realistic targets could actually make a difference, from Luis Arraez and Jake McCarthy to Daulton Varsho and more? Finally, the guys preview a pivotal weekend series against the Baltimore Orioles and ask the biggest question of all: What happens if the Phillies get swept at Camden Yards? Could they be sellers come Monday at 6 p.m? The Trade Deadline is almost here—and the Phillies have some serious decisions to make. #34 | Ranking Potential Phillies Trade Targets

The trade deadline is a week away, and the Phillies have some serious decisions to make. After dropping two of three to the Yankees and falling to 3-6 since the All-Star break, Josh Liddick and Austin Myers break down the latest struggles, Jesús Luzardo's continued dominance, Bryson Stott's big weekend, and why the Phillies need to find more consistency as they head into the stretch run. Then, it's time to go shopping. What are the Phillies' biggest needs? How aggressive should they be before the deadline? And how much should they be willing to give up to make a run at another World Series? Are there players that could help solidify the rotation? Would the Phillies ever have a shot at someone like Mike Trout? How about Byron Buxton? Josh and Austin answer some of these questions and each unveil their Top 5 trade targets for the Phillies, discuss the future of the farm system, and debate just how much the team should be willing to sacrifice to maximize its championship window. The deadline is almost here. Are the Phillies ready to go all-in?
