    You held your ground. You didn't yell. You didn't apologize. You just told the truth. And now you're standing in your kitchen wondering if you've become "one of those cold women." Sistah, that voice is lying to you. In this episode of The Wholly Kingdom Purpose Podcast, I'm sitting down with you at the kitchen table to reclaim Proverbs 4:23 from the way we've been taught to read it. "Guard your heart" was never supposed to mean stay soft, stay quiet, and leave the front gate open for anybody who wanted to walk on in. Real guarding is a filter, not a wall. A guard at the gate checks credentials. She lets the right things through — genuine connection, rest, people who pour back into you. And she turns the unnecessary things away — the guilt trips, the manufactured emergencies, the chaos that belongs to somebody else.
