Backline Chat w/Aimee Bolter Campbell, Host of Dala's House Concerts

SF Bay Area Live Music had the opportunity to interview Aimée Bolter Campbell, a Bay Area vocalist and the Host and Founder of Dala’s Nest House Concerts. Each event is characterized by an acoustic concert held in a garden setting. In this episode, Aimée discusses the origins of the house concert concept and her extensive involvement in the San Francisco music scene. Since 2014, Dala’s Nest has hosted house concerts featuring 80+ artists from various regions, predominantly original songwriters, including both local and touring artists. Dala’s Nest concerts attract listeners and musicians with diverse tastes. Each concert fosters interaction between the artists and guests, providing guests with the chance to meet the musicians. Designated as a “micro-venue,” the seating arrangement accommodates 30 individuals, requesting a $25 donation per guest, which is directly contributed to the artists. Dala’s Nest operates as a self-funded non-profit seasonal initiative dedicated to strengthening community through music. Listed below are a few of the upcoming artists. Backline Chat w/Brian Kramer - Blues Musician, International Jam Host and Artist

In this episode, our first international podcast, I chatted with musician and artist Brian Kramer. Brian is the artist of the SF BAY AREA LIVE MUSIC logo. During our chat we spoke of how we met, the development of the logo, Brian’s extensive art portfolio, his international blues music jam (which he has hosted for 27 years), and spirituality. Brian's artistic style is engaging, fun, happy and a bit whimsical, which aligns well with our brand. Originally from Brooklyn, Brian currently resides in Stockholm, Sweden. He has been playing blues guitar and developing his artistic style since his teenage years. His creative journey began in the 1990s interacting with legendary blues musicians such as Buddy Guy and Junior Wells. A few years later, Junior Wells joined Brian on his first record, Brian Kramer and the Blues Masters featuring Junior Wells, Win or Lose. Throughout this period, he toured extensively and remained a prominent figure within the New York club scene, frequently performing with the renowned blues musician Larry Johnson. Brian collaborated with internationally acclaimed artist Eric Bibb on four successful world tours. Plus shared the stage, and recorded with legendary artists such as Taj Mahal, Toumani Diabate, Bob Brozman, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Robin Ford, Bobby Rush, Cory Harris, John Mayall, Sven Zetterberg, Jimmy Dawkins, and many others. I hope you enjoy this episode of Backline Chat.  Refer to our website for more information about our music community. www.sanfranciscobayarealivemusic.com Find Brian online!   I included social media links, and those mentioned in the podcast.
