Dare to Be Her with Kimberly Rush

Send us Fan Mail Kimberly shared her sacred rock bottom that led her to create a a guide book, a program and a spirit of true resilience, authenticity and love of self. As Kim inspires change and personal growth, she also throws out the stone that will ripple out to everyone she touches and that she helps excavate their shine! Kimberly Rush is an Identity Midwife, business coach, and author who helps established women coaches, healers, and entrepreneurs birth the woman—and the business—their future is waiting for. And she knows a thing or two about losing yourself. At 2 a.m., curled up in the backseat of her car after mold poisoning and chronic illness had turned her life upside down, Kimberly hit rock bottom. She barely recognized the woman she had become. But underneath the pain and fear, there was still a knowing: this wasn’t how her story had to end. So she started finding her way back to herself. She questioned the people pleasing, self-doubt, need for approval, and invisible rules she’d spent a lifetime following. Little by little, she stopped abandoning herself and started choosing herself. That experience became the heartbeat behind her work today. Kimberly works with established women who don’t need another strategy—they already know what to do. She helps them strip away the shoulds, expectations, and conditioning that have disconnected them from their truth so they can remember who they are, trust what they know, and build from that place. Kimberly is the author of Dare to Be HER: Unleashing Your Confidence, Power, and Authenticity and creator of the Dare to Be HER Experience. Born breech in Charlotte, North Carolina—because apparently following directions was never really her thing—Kimberly went skydiving for her 18th birthday, loves Bob Marley, and has an unbreakable connection to Hawaii, especially the ‘āina, hula, and aloha spirit. Her message is simple: Remembering who you are underneath everything you’ve been taught to be—and trusting HER—is enough to build the life and business your future is waiting for. My Scar, My Friend with Meagan Clements

Send us Fan Mail Meagan tells her journey of working through her scars in her life, after having a surgery to remove an atypical mole from her abdominal area. From her experience, she shares the process of healing and understanding what scars represent.  Along with the recognition of scars, Meagan deconstructs the body positive movement and gives women permission to be real, acknowledge the bad days and still hold yourself in authentic emotions and understanding of self.  Meagan, not only has a healing book, she is a teacher and children’s author, infusing humor, music and life’s lessons into these intriguing books.  Meagan F. Clements is a credentialed schoolteacher and writer based in Southern California. She enjoys all aspects of music journalism and creative writing as well as working with children and teens. Her writing stems largely from real life people, events, and experiences. Meagan earned her bachelor’s degree in liberal studies with a music concentration as well as a multiple-subject teaching credential and a master’s degree in education from Azusa Pacific University in sunny, Southern California. While studying at Azusa Pacific, Meagan became involved in writing for The Clause, the weekly campus newspaper, as a senior staff writer, immersing herself in news, opinion, feature, entertainment, and sports reporting. Upon graduating from Azusa Pacific, Meagan continued to pursue her undeniable love for music freelancing album reviews, live show reviews, and in-depth band/artist profiles. Meagan has interviewed the likes of blues guitarist Jonny Lang, pop/rock group Hanson, and singer/songwriters Tyler Hilton (One Tree Hill) and Jon McLaughlin to name just a few. Meagan has also interviewed Timmy Rough of the German hard rock band, The New Roses, and Sam Lewis, who was praised by Chris Stapleton as a “modern Townes Van Zandt” for the performing arts platform, youbloom.  Meagan’s greatest passion is integrating her love for music into her books. Whether it’s the poem “Slipping Inside” — a tribute to the vocal stylings of one of her favorite singers, Counting Crows front man Adam Duritz — featured in her 2019 release, Bug Off!, or her most recent book series about a family of house flies with humanlike characteristics (one of whom is a young fly into rock and roll and blues music), Meagan rarely writes without offering her passion for the art of singer/songwriters and hip, slightly defiant and edgy rock bands. https://www.instagram.com/missmclements/ https://missmclements.com/ carriemyersauthor.comyourselfprogram.combethesparkmovement.comsoulshineunbound.com@cjmyerspoet@yourselfprogram@bethesparkmovement@soulshineunbound A commercial for the Be the Spark Movement and an invitation to join us for a conversation. For the Love of Our Children with Jabbarah-Andrea Jacobson

Send us Fan Mail Jabbarah and Carrie talk about the importance of our children, how they regulate and perceive the world we have created for them.  It is our job to listen to the magic that they are bringing into the world to have profound impacts on society!  Jabbarah gives voice to the little ones and allows them the space they need to help heal our world. Jabbarah (Andrea Jacobson) believes we are each a unique and needed note harmonizing the grand orchestration of the universe, and that life becomes more beautiful as we learn to recognize, appreciate, and bring forth one another's unique notes. Drawing from more than 20 years as a pediatric occupational therapist, the wisdom of I AM Heart, The Nurtured Heart Approach®, and her own lived experience as a deeply sensitive and intense person, Jabbarah developed Heart-Fueled Tools to help people see themselves, one another, and the world through a different lens. Rather than asking, "What's wrong?" she invites a different question: "What is this child, this person, or this moment perceiving that we haven't yet noticed?" Heart-Fueled Tools creates a shared language for recognizing, understanding, and working with what lives beneath behavior. Through playful puppet stories, Heart Breaths, and practical experiences, Jabbarah helps children and the adults who love them make sense of big feelings, strengthen connection, and cultivate greatness by recognizing the unique note within themselves and one another. Her hope is simple: to help retune the human conversation, one relationship at a time.
