But it wasn’t the movie alone that led him to share this with me—it was the fact that he saw something in me. He told me he felt safe asking because he believed I was a good person. This moment reminded me of how the way we live, love, and represent our faith can quietly impact others. I was able to encourage him to seek out a Bible-teaching church, and remind him that God is ready to meet him right where he is.
