How CFMOTO Is Taking On the Biggest Motorcycle Brands | JUSTRIDE Podcast Ep.16

CFMOTO has quickly become one of the most talked-about motorcycle brands in the UK but what’s really behind that growth? In this episode of the JUSTRIDE Podcast, we sit down with Jazz and Harry Hinkley from CFMOTO UK to talk about taking on some of the biggest names in motorcycling, changing perceptions around Chinese-built bikes and building a brand that’s quickly becoming impossible to ignore. We get into the success of bikes like the 450MT, why CFMOTO believes it can challenge the established manufacturers, the importance of dealer support and parts availability, and what the future could look like for the brand. Harry also takes us behind the scenes of racing Red Bull Romaniacs, tells us about his rather impressive garage — including a CR500 AF, Husqvarna 300, SLAM 250, GasGas trials bike and KX250 — and explains why apparently the answer to most off-road problems is simply to “gas it out.” We also chat about: - CFMOTO’s huge growth in the UK - Taking on the established motorcycle brands - Why the 450MT has been such a success - Harry’s Red Bull Romaniacs experience - Jazz & Harry’s approach to marketing CFMOTO - How the CFMOTO story started with agriculture and ATVs - Changing perceptions of Chinese motorcycles - Becoming number one in the UK four-wheel market - ABR Festival chaos, racing and plenty of stories along the way - And what it’s like working, riding and building a business together as husband and wife A proper mix of motorcycles, racing, business and the personalities behind one of the fastest-growing brands in the industry. The Road to a Morocco Rally with Anna aka Footpegs | JUSTRIDE Podcast Ep.15

Just three years ago, Anna Maria Gilbert — better known as Footpegs — had never ridden a motorcycle. Eight months after getting into riding she was already discovering the world of off-road, and now she's preparing for her biggest challenge yet: a multi-day rally raid across Morocco. And she's doing it while living with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (PoTS) and hypermobility. In this episode of the JUSTRIDE Podcast, Anna joins us alongside Adam to talk about her rapid journey into motorcycling, discovering adventure riding, learning to ride off-road and why she seems incapable of saying no to a challenge. But there's a much bigger reason behind her upcoming Morocco adventure. After spending years knowing something wasn't quite right and eventually receiving her PoTS diagnosis, Anna is using the rally to raise money and awareness for PoTS UK — helping support others who may still be fighting to be heard or searching for answers. Anna is refreshingly realistic about the challenge. Five consecutive days of riding across demanding terrain will push her physically, and she openly admits she doesn't know whether her body will allow her to reach the finish. But she's going to give it everything. 🏍️ SUPPORT ANNA'S MOROCCO CHALLENGE Donate to Anna's fundraiser for PoTS UK https://www.justgiving.com/page/footpegs Every £5 donated also gives you an entry into Anna's charity raffle, with prizes donated by some brilliant motorcycle and adventure brands. 📲 FOLLOW ANNA / FOOTPEGS Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/f.ootpegs/ ❤️ LEARN MORE ABOUT PoTS https://www.justgiving.com/charity/potsuk In this episode we talk about: - Going from horses to motorcycles - Getting her motorcycle licence and riding to Spain just months later - Discovering off-road and adventure riding - Training for a rally raid across Morocco - Living and riding with PoTS - Hypermobility and managing energy levels - The long journey to getting a diagnosis - Why she's raising money for PoTS UK - Building the stamina needed for consecutive days off-road - Motorcycle kit, bike setup and finding the right adventure bike - Spain, Morocco and their favourite places to ride - Why sometimes the best adventures start with absolutely no plan A brilliant conversation about motorcycles, adventure, determination and doing the things you love — even when you can't guarantee how they'll turn out.
