The Man Who Died for Your Bible: The William Tyndale Story

The Forbidden Bible: How William Tyndale Changed the World ForeverWhat if reading the Bible in your own language was a crime punishable by death? In this episode, we dive deep into the harrowing and inspiring story of William Tyndale, the man who gave his life so that even a "plow boy" could know the scriptures better than the clergy. We trace the timeline from St. Jerome’s Latin Vulgate to John Wycliffe’s handwritten translations, and finally to Tyndale’s revolutionary work. Tyndale didn't just translate from other versions; he went back to the original Greek and Hebrew, giving us the foundation for over 80% of the King James Version we read today.Join us as we discuss: The secret smuggling of "pocket Bibles" into England. Why the authorities were so afraid of the "common" language. The emotional sacrifice of Tyndale’s martyrdom and his final prayer for the King of England. How this quest for religious liberty paved the way for the U.S. Constitution and the Restoration of the Gospel through Joseph Smith. As we approach the 250th anniversary of the United States and the 200th anniversary of the Church, we reflect on the divine hand that moved through these "brave people" to ensure we have the word of God today.Celebrating the 250 years of the US:https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/manual/celebrating-freedom-and-agency/01?lang=engElder D. Ruth & Boaz: A Story of Faithful Love

We go through this fantastic story. We love this. Check out the episode and then go read Ruth for yourself. Comment with your thoughts on Ruth. LIKE SUBSCRIBE SHARE! Thank you for your support!!! Keep being #fearless in your study! In the days when the judges ruled, a famine drives Naomi and her husband Elimelech from Bethlehem in Judah to the land of Moab. Tragedy strikes: Elimelech dies, and years later both of their sons also pass away, leaving Naomi widowed and childless with her two Moabite daughters-in-law, Orpah and Ruth. When Naomi hears that the Lord has visited His people with food, she decides to return home. Orpah stays in Moab, but Ruth makes one of the most beautiful declarations of loyalty in Scripture: “Entreat me not to leave thee… for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God” (Ruth 1:16).The two widows arrive in Bethlehem at the beginning of the barley harvest. Ruth, seeking to provide for them, gleans in the fields and providentially comes to the portion belonging to Boaz—a wealthy and honorable kinsman of Elimelech. Boaz notices Ruth’s diligence, kindness, and devotion to Naomi, and he protects and blesses her.Following Naomi’s wise counsel, Ruth boldly approaches Boaz at the threshing floor and asks him to act as kinsman-redeemer. After a closer relative declines, Boaz willingly redeems the family line, marries Ruth, and restores Naomi’s hope. Their son Obed becomes the grandfather of King David—placing Ruth, a Moabite outsider, directly in the royal lineage that leads to the Messiah, Jesus Christ.#jesuschrist #ruth #viral #new #episode #love #boaz #highpriest #bible #study #scripture #fearless #naomi #faithful #redemption
