Episode 21: Equipped To Build Up The Body Of Christ

In this episode of Live It Out, Pastor Jason Lancaster and Adam Green take a deep dive into Ephesians 4:7–16 to examine how, by the grace of Jesus, and through our church leaders to equip brothers and sisters in Christ uniquely to grow, serve, and reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. What We Cover In This Episode: The True Role of Church Leaders: How pastors, shepherds, and evangelists are called to equip believers for the work of ministry—a serving role that must always be carried out with Christlike humility.Overcoming Pastoral Burnout: Why ministry can’t simply rest on the shoulders of “the pastor.” We discuss how everyday believers can step in using their spiritual gifts to handle care, counseling, hospital visits, baptisms, the Lord’s Supper, etc. to build up the body of Christ.Ministry Beyond Church Walls: While these spiritual gifts play a vital role in Sunday ministries, they are primarily lived out outside the church—in our homes, marriages, workplaces, and in our community.A Fire for the Lost: How building up the body of Christ ignites a deep passion for evangelism, and why local and global missions are integral for casting a vision to reach people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We encourage you to comment and share this episode with others. Episode 19: Radical Change, Real Mission: The Power of Jesus

Welcome back to Live It Out! In this episode, we’re sitting down with special guest Elijah Lancaster to dive deep into Mark 5:1-20. We’re breaking down the passage, sharing some extra behind-the-scenes thoughts that didn't make the Sunday sermon, and talking about what it actually looks like to live out our faith on a daily basis. This is the truth: no one is ever a lost cause, and Jesus' specialty is reaching the unreachable—He came to seek and save the lost. We're also giving hope to those of us who tend to isolate themselves and hide their struggles instead of bringing them into the light. Plus, we talk about how Jesus' radical mercy toward the broken, scary, and crazy strong demon-possessed man should completely change the way we view those who are difficult, messy, or hard-to-love in our own circles. It’s time to step out of our comfortable Sunday routines, go back to our own "Decapolis," and share the story of Jesus and the hope that He alone can give. Spoiler alert: you don’t need a theology degree or all the answers—you just need a testimony of what Jesus has done for you and the mercy He has shown. Episode 17: Radically Changed: How the Gospel Redefines Your Relationships

Are you tired of "surface-level" Christianity that fails to hold up when life gets messy? We often talk about the Gospel as something that saves us for eternity, but do we realize that as believers, the radical love that God has shown us should be lived out in how we interact with everyone around us? In this episode of Live It Out, Pastor Jason Lancaster and Adam Green dive into Ephesians 4:1–6 to explore how a life truly "worthy of the calling" looks, sounds, and acts in the middle of everyday friction. If you’ve ever felt like your faith should be making a bigger impact on your marriage, your workplace, your family, your parenting, or your friendships, this conversation is for you. We are moving past the Sunday-morning platitudes to discuss what it actually looks like to "put on" Christ's humility, gentleness, and patience so that we can be peace makers with those around us.
