Hermetic Laws and the Unconscious Mind: How Disease Begins and Ends in the Intangible Realms

In this episode, Caitlin Woolery sits down with Dr. Mike Patten to explore Concept Therapy, the Hermetic laws, and the idea that disease is not a physical process. Dr. Mike breaks down the Hermetic laws of vibration, relativity, polarity, gender, rhythm, cause and effect, and transmutation, and explains how these laws continually overlap and operate whether we recognize them or not. The conversation looks at the body through spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical planes, exploring how subconscious concepts, emotional patterns, inherited beliefs, and repeated experiences can eventually express through the physical body.  Caitlin and Dr. Mike discuss how concepts become embedded in the subconscious through emotion, family, culture, religion, medicine, fear, and personal experience, and how those concepts can influence behavior, health, relationships, and the patterns we repeatedly create. The discussion moves into vitalism, innate intelligence, chiropractic, herbal medicine, pharmaceuticals, placebo, and the difference between supporting the body’s healing processes and suppressing a physical expression without addressing what is driving it. They also examine the four physical laws of nourishment, movement, recuperation, and sanitation, along with the role of fear, comparison, polarity, knowledge, ego, and awareness in changing deeply established patterns. The episode eventually moves beyond physical healing into cause and effect, money, ambition, service, manifestation, surrender, trauma, forgiveness, and higher laws. Caitlin questions manifestation culture and whether continually imposing our personal will on the future can become another expression of ego and desire, bringing Samsara and the spiritual consequences of attachment into the conversation. The discussion closes with consciousness, God, source, innate intelligence, and the possibility that healing and spiritual development involve progressively recognizing the laws operating behind our experiences. Caitlin and Dr. Mike explore whether we are actually separate from the intelligence moving through matter, biology, and consciousness, and how greater awareness of that connection may change our relationship with suffering, other people, and ourselves. Topics Discussed: Concept Therapy and why disease is hardly ever physicalThe spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical planesThe seven Hermetic laws and how they operate togetherVibration, relativity, polarity, gender, rhythm, cause and effect, and transmutationSubconscious concepts, emotional charge, and inherited programmingHow fear and comparison create and reinforce negative polarityNourishment, movement, recuperation, and sanitation as physical lawsVitalism, innate intelligence, and the body’s capacity to healHerbal medicine, chiropractic, pharmaceuticals, and placeboChallenging rigid medical and holistic belief systemsCause and effect in health, relationships, money, parenting, and behaviorEgo, ambition, money, recognition, and the evolution toward serviceManifestation culture, desire, and the limits of personal willTrauma, deeply embedded beliefs, and whether every concept can be changedForgiveness and understanding the laws behind painful experiencesHigher laws, conscious awareness, and freedom from repetitive patternsGod, source, innate intelligence, and the illusion of separation About Dr Mike Patton Dr. Mike Patten grew up with chiropractic as a part of everyday life. As the son of a chiropractor, he learned early to see the body as intelligent, connected, and constantly working toward healing. After becoming a chiropractor and practicing alongside his father, an experience with a patient he was unable to help sparked a lifelong pursuit to better understand one question: How does a person actually heal? In 2019, that pursuit led Dr. Mike to the Concept Therapy Institute, where he began studying Universal Laws, Hermetic principles, and how our concepts influence our health and lives. Today, he brings those principles together with the physical and nutritional aspects of health in his practice. His goal is to give people the space to be heard, help them understand why they feel the way they do, and recognize the innate intelligence within the body that is continually working toward healing.

    Misconceptions about MTHFR and Methylation

About Jenine Stallard, CNC Jenine Stallard has been the Head Clinical Consultant at Sabre Sciences Labs since 2001. Sabre Sciences is one of the oldest and most reputable research labs for methylation and neurotransmitter pathways worldwide. She received her certification in clinical nutrition from the Natural Healing Institute in Encinitas, California. During her time with Sabre Sciences, she has worked alongside some of the greatest minds in natural endocrinology, assisting in clinical research, educational workshops, laboratory analysis, product formulations, and product development. Her background in health is diverse, and she has studied with a variety of cutting-edge doctors in various medical disciplines.  Key Takeaways  In this episode, Caitlin Woolery sits down with Janine Stallard of Saber Sciences to discuss the massive misunderstanding surrounding MTHFR and methylation in the functional medicine industry. The conversation breaks down why having an MTHFR gene mutation does NOT automatically mean someone needs high-dose methylated vitamins, methylfolate, or Leucovorin. Caitlin and Janine explain why genetic testing alone is incomplete and why specialized methylation testing is required to determine whether someone is overmethylated or undermethylated. And how methylation labs are required before one can determine the form and proper amount of B vitamins.  The episode explores how improper use of methyl donors can contribute to anxiety, insomnia, panic attacks, hyperactivity, OCD tendencies, autism spectrum symptoms, adrenal stress, and nervous system dysregulation. The discussion also covers synthetic folic acid vs methylfolate vs folinic acid, the dangers of fortified foods and prenatal vitamins, pharmaceutical and vaccine injury, toxic burden, oxidative stress, sulfuration pathways, glutathione production, neurotransmitter metabolism, and how trauma, stress, sleep, diet, hydration, and environment alter genetic expression over time. Topics Discussed: Why the industry misunderstands MTHFR and methylationWhy methylation testing matters more than genetics aloneOvermethylation vs undermethylation and how symptoms present differentlyHigh-dose methylfolate, leucovorin, and excessive B vitaminsAutism, hyperactivity, anxiety, insomnia, OCD patterns, and nervous system dysregulationPharmaceutical injury, vaccine injury, mold illness, Lyme disease, and toxic burdenSynthetic folic acid vs methylfolate vs folinic acidFortified foods, prenatal vitamins, and chronic inflammatory loadSulfuration, glutathione, oxidative stress, and detoxificationHow trauma, stress, and environment alter biochemical pathwaysWhy genes are not fixed destinyPrecision low-dose supplementation vs generalized protocolsCaitlin’s personal methylation lab analysis and recovery journey

The Truth About Comfrey: Sacred Healing, Scientific Controversy & Suppressed Herbal Wisdom

On this The Veritas Botanica Podcast episode, we will be talking with Gabriel Monaghan, master herbalist and founder of Ho’olono Natural Remedies. Gabriel is a Lāʻau lapaʻau medicine practitioner in the Hawaiian Islands. He trained for over 12 years with native medicine men, learning the ancient indigenous methods of the spiritual and botanical sacred healing arts. He also carries the lineage of Dr. John Christopher and graduated from the School of Natural Healing. Gabriel has his own herbal medicine school and teaches herbal healing classes all over the Hawaiian Islands.   Gabriel owns an herb farm on the Hawaii islands, grows medicine for the local people, and ships Hawaiian medicine products all over the world. He has been cultivating Comfrey on his farm for over 15 years, and is one of the most experienced and educated herbalists alive today on the subject and utilization of Comfrey.     Key Takeaways: This episode examines the historical suppression of herbal medicine in the United States during the late 1980s and early 1990s, when regulatory agencies attempted to restrict access to herbs and supplements. We explore how Comfrey became a primary target during this period, despite thousands of years of documented traditional use. The scientific allopathic model only understands herbs by isolating individual plant chemicals. They administer them to rats at abnormally high doses, then use those results to characterize the entire plant as dangerous. In contrast, traditional herbalism uses the full spectrum of the plant, where naturally occurring constituents interact together and may balance or neutralize compounds that appear harmful when studied in isolation. Pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs) are indeed dangerous when isolated, but can be neutralized by other constituents in the plant and by supporting liver function. Rats are highly sensitive to PAs, while pigs, sheep, and butterflies tolerate or even benefit from them. Human genetics are closer to pigs than to rats, so concluding human effects based solely on rat studies is limited.Comfrey has been used and consumed internally throughout human history. During the Irish potato famine, many people survived on comfrey due to its rich protein matrix and high mineral and vitamin content.Comfrey has remarkable healing properties, and we review incredible cases involving comfrey, including severe burns, ACL injuries, bone healing, stomach ulcers, liver disease, and surfing accidents involving deeply embedded coral. We deep dive into the profound regenerative role of allantoin. Comfrey is one of the few plants that contains allantoin, and this compound is widely credited for comfrey’s ability to rapidly stimulate tissue proliferation and repair. The human body was meant to regenerate and heal from injury and illness, yet much of this knowledge has been repressed and lost. We speculate on the medical industries that might go out of business if this plant had not been infamously repressed.  Connect with the Host: Website: https://www.veritasbotanica.com Join our Educational Community: https://www.veritasbotanica.com/community Shop our Herbal Products: https://veritasbotanicals.gethealthy.store Facebook: Caitlin Woolery Instagram: caitlin_woolery_ccmh   Connect with the Guest: Facebook: Gabriel Monaghan Website: https://www.hoolono.com
