Episode 44: San Diego Recap/Angel City Preview

Well, the Legacy sure started their West Coast road trip with a bang, earning a 2-2 draw against 2nd place San Diego and extending their points streak. They also played slight spoiler for the Wave's shield aspirations; preventing them from clinching at least for now. We had a very chill Swan Dive this week, just Andy and Courtney chatting about the Legacy. They spent some time talking about the big draw against the Wave before looking ahead at the team's final match on Decision Day against Angel City. We do have our predictions as usual though they are mathematically meaningless as the table is frozen and no one can catch anyone else regardless of the results. That being said here are the current standings and only the point totals can change. Standings After San Diego Courtney: 22 pointsOpposition: 17 pointsAndy: 11 pointsLegacy Guest: 6 points Predictions for Angel City Andy: 2-0 LegacyCourtney: 2-2 for awesomeness!Legacy Guest: 2-3 LegacyOpposition Guest: 3-5 Legacy Those last two were made by our friend RNG As always you can reach us on Instagram and Bluesky at BLFCSwanDive and via email at BLFCSwanDive@gmail.com. Send us questions and suggestions. We also need your opinion on something we are looking at doing in the very near future (look out for polls on our social media soon!) Episode 43: Louisville Recap/San Diego Wave Preview

We're back! For you all, its only been a week, for us it has been a few, but we are back to celebrate the Legacy's win over Louisville for the last home match of the season. There were goals, a lightning delay, a special guest at the supporter's tailgate a reverse pitch invasion and more and Brad is back to talk about it all with us. We take a look at that awesome last home game before moving on to previewing the penultimate match against a red hot San Diego Wave team who the Legacy haven't played since April (when they were good but decidedly far less red hot). Time for the predictions; there was not Wave guest this week so our good friend random number generator handled their prediction this week. Standings After Louisville Courtney: 19 pointsOpposition: 17 pointsAndy: 11 pointsLegacy guest: 6 points Predictions for San Diego Andy: 2-1 WaveCourtney: 2-2 (for whatever we are calling it)Brad: 2-0 WaveOpposition: 4-1 Legacy Its going to be down to the wire between Courtney and the Opposition in the prediction game. Looks like it is going to be decision day here next weekend too! As always, reach out to us with any questions, comments, and feedback. There is still time if you want to be a guest this season or in the off season. Do you have thoughts on what you'd like us to talk about in the offseason? If so, let us know! Episode 42: Racing Louisville Preview

In what may be the shortest Swan Dive episode ever, Andy, Courtney and Greg are back (spoiler alert, they never actually left) to give a quick preview on the Legacy's final home game of the season, the rematch against Racing Louisville FC. No opposition guest this week so our friend RNG made their prediction. Before we get to the predictions we should note this episode was recorded prior to the news of Casey Murphy's injury but don't worry, Andy's got you covered at the top of the show with Swan Dive Addendum #2. On to the important part, the predictions! First a reminder of the standings: Standings After Portland Courtney: 19 pointsOpposition: 17 pointsAndy: 10 PointsLegacy guest: 5 points Predictions for Louisville Andy: 3-1 LegacyCourtney: 2-2 drawGreg: 3-2 LegacyOpposition: 4-3 Louisville And that's all we have! Episode 41: Thorns Recap and Q and A

Well, there's a first time for everything and this week, the Swan Dive had its first emergency recording session. We recorded a whole podcast (and then some) and then the news about the Legacy signing Gift Monday dropped and we just couldn't let that sit there un-discussed until the next time we recorded. The main purpose of this episode, however, was to recap the incredible road win against the Thorns and to answer your burning questions in another one of our Q and A sessions and thats exactly what we did. We were joined once again by Greg from the Boston Dream. Greg sat down with us during the World Cup break to tell us all about the Boston Dream organization (episode 26) and he is back to talk all things Legacy v Thorns. Andy and Courtney then tackled your hard hitting questions in another Q and A session. Thanks to everyone who submitted questions, we really enjoy getting to answer them and will continue to do so both in our regular episodes and in these special sessions. No predictions this week as the league is on an international break but no one scored any points this past week and the standings remain the same. As always we can be found on Bluesky and Instagram at BLFCSwanDive and via email at BLFCSwanDive@gmail.com. We love hearing your thoughts, feedback, opinions etc so please keep writing to us! Episode 40: Seattle Reign Recap/Portland Thorns Preview

Well, Legacy fans, the team played in a match against the Seattle Reign last weekend and that's all there really is to say about it. Jokes aside, it was a rough one, but we have a job to do here so Andy, Courtney and Liz got together to give a few thoughts on the team's 2-0 loss against Seattle. The Legacy are headed back to the west coast this weekend to take on the Portland Thorns and we were once again joined by Andy's friend Alex to get their thoughts on the upcoming match. If you recall, last time the Legacy played Portland, the Thorns scored three goals in like 10 minutes so here's to hoping that is part of history that does not repeat itself. Predictions! Standings After Seattle Reign Courtney: 19 pointsOpposition: 17 pointsAndy: 10 pointsLegacy guest: 5 points Predictions for Portland Match Andy: 3-1 PortlandCourtney: 2-2 drawLiz: 2-1 PortlandAlex: 2-1 Portland Will the opposition guest catch up to Courtney? Will the Legacy seat finally get more points? Will the Legacy pull out a win and shut all our panelists out? Find out more on the next episode! Speaking of next week's episode....There is an international break coming up, no NWSL next weekend so we were thinking of doing another Q and A as part of next week's episode. That would require us having questions to answer so please, send us some! They don't all have to be Legacy or soccer related. You can reach us at BLFCSwanDive on Bluesky and Instagram and at BLFCSwanDive@gmail.com. In addition to questions, we are always looking for guests as well as feedback about the show. Episode 39: Dash Recap/Seattle Reign Preview

Well, the Legacy's mini win streak came to an end over the weekend as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Houston on a rainy day in Pawtucket. Andy and Courtney were joined by first time guest Maddi to discuss this hard fought match against the Dash. Then, the team was joined once again by Van from The Cooler Guild podcast (Hi Coop, we missed you!) to preview this week's fixture against the Seattle Reign. Van gave an update on how the Reign's season has gone since the teams last met (as well as an update about the Etsy Witch situation) and we all gave our predictions for the upcoming match. Standings After Houston Courtney: 19 pointsOpposition: 14 pointsAndy: 9 pointsLegacy Guest: 5 points Predictions for Reign Andy: 3-1 SeattleCourtney: 2-2 drawMaddi: 2-1 LegacyVan: 2-0 Reign One thing is certain, someone is going to get points this week! Episode 38: Spirit Recap/Houston Dash Preview

Legacy fans, we are coming off a HUGE win against the Spirit this past weekend and we couldnt wait to dive (pun intended) right into it. ICYMI, the Swan Dive team took a little field trip to catch the big game down in DC and it was a great time (check out IG for pics!). Andy and Courtney were joined this week by returning guest Dave (and no I do not know how many episodes this makes but he is still in 1st place). The team broke down the big win and for maybe the first time ever, had almost only positive things to say about what was an outstanding performance by the Legacy. For our Houston Dash preview we were joined by Manny from Bayou City Soccer. Its been six full months since the Legacy last played the Dash and neither lineup really looks the same. Manny shared a little about we can expect as well as some thoughts about the recent departure of both the Dash's head coach and technical director. As always we round this one out with out prediction game. Standings After the Spirit Courtney: 18 pointsOpposition: 14 pointsAndy: 9 pointsLegacy guest: 5 points Predictions for Dash Match Andy: 3-1 LegacyCourtney: 3-2 Dash (note from Courtney: Don't be mad! We are doing a "science" thing again)Dave: 3-0 LegacyManny: 1-1 As always you can find us on Instagram and Bluesky at BLFCSwanDive and via email at BLFCSwanDive@gmail.com. Episode 37: Utah Recap/Spirit Preview

Woohoo Swan Dive listeners, the Legacy stopped their string of highly questionable, not great games with a huge 2-1 win against Utah Royals on the road and we were so excited to talk about it. The long weekend got the better of us planning wise so we had no Legacy guest this week so we had a rare Swan Dive moment where Andy and Courtney had a nice little one on one chat about all the action. After that, they were joined by Annie from Hey Spirits to catch up with what has been happening with the Washington Spirit and discuss this weekend's upcoming match. As always we ended with our prediction game (and got Liz to give her a prediction for the Legacy seat). Standing remain unchanged after the Utah match. Standings After Utah Courtney: 18 pointsOpposition: 14 pointsAndy: 9 pointsLegacy Guest: 5 points Predictions for Spirit Match Andy: 2-1 SpiritCourtney: 3-2 SpiritLiz: 3-1 SpiritAnnie: 2-1 Spirit That's it for this week, thanks to Annie from Hey Spirits for joining us. The Swan Dive team is making the trip to DC for the game this weekend and we will catch back up with you all next week. As always you can find us on BLFCSwanDive on Bluesky and Instagram as well as BLFCSwanDive@gmail.com.
