Rep Omar attacked at Town Hall

I just dropped a short podcast, and let’s be crystal clear about something people love to lie about: Political violence in this country overwhelmingly comes from the far-right — not the far-left.And I didn’t pull that out of thin air. The sources are in the episode. Here’s the reality:Most of us don’t like what ICE is doing. We’re angry. We’re outraged. We’re fed up. But the vast majority of us are not out here hurting people. We protest. We organize. We document. We use our voices — not our fists. Now compare that to the far-right, who don’t just talk about violence — they act on it. January 6th, 2021.Trump supporters tried to overthrow an election. They smeared feces on the walls of the U.S. Capitol. Capitol Police were beaten, crushed, tased with their own weapons, and tortured. Property was destroyed. And let’s not sugarcoat it — they brought gallows to hang the Vice President of the United States. That is not “free speech.”That is not “patriotism.”That is violent extremism. And then there’s 2020.Despite what Fox News wants you to believe, 93% of protests were peaceful. The violence that did happen? Largely instigated by white supremacist groups — the Boogaloo Boys, Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, and Three Percenters. These groups burned down an AutoZone in Minneapolis. They burned down a local police department. And then they tried to blame it on BLM. This is their playbook. They show up.They instigate. They escalate. They commit violence. And then they point the finger at everyone else. So the next time they call us violent, remind them of the facts.Remind them of January 6th.Remind them who actually acts on violence in this country. Because the truth is loud — and it’s not on their side. Get full access to Tyler Krieter | 50501 Northern Illinois Organizer at tylerkrieter.substack.com/subscribe
