Join Carla Morrow and Allen Childers as we bring Woody Woodward and Jim Julo back to talk shows. What shows do we do, how do we prepare, what we see happening in the show world, big shows vs. small, and our awesome patrons! Jim Julo is the illustrator behind Cursed Hallow, an ever-growing collection of fantasy and macabre art. As a traditional pen and ink artist his work draws inspiration from 14th and 15th-century engravings, woodcuts, occult manuscripts, and old books, as well as traditional tattoos and folklore. His subject matter ranges from animals and knights to mythical creatures and death. As a traveling artist, he spends most of the festival season traveling to different fairs and conventions across the Midwest and Upper South every weekend to sell his work. Currently he is working on an constantly evolving tarot card deck, book illustrations for some local authors as well as preparing new work for some larger festivals later this year. https://www.cursedhallowart.com/ A graduate of Manchester University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Woody is a fantasy illustrator residing in Kansas City, MO, and originally hails from Northwest Indiana. Currently, he travels and sells his art at various Renaissance Fairs such as Bristol, Kansas City, St Louis and others. When feasible, Woody travels overseas to gain knowledge of the world and inspiration for his art. The stories he gains from these experiences nurture his passion for fantasy illustration and the ability to tell stories in that work, both traditional and digital alike. Culminating all of his inspirations and travels, his latest work in progress and his first book - Auveriah: Ascension, is coming to fruition thanks to its latest round of beta readers and will hopefully be published within a year. https://www.instagram.com/woody_woodward.art/ Carla Morrow is a fantasy artist specializing in painting dragons and capturing their energies on paper.
