Meditation is easier than you think!

Send us Fan Mail Meditation Is Easier Than You Think Think you’re bad at meditation because you can’t turn your brain off? Good news: you’re not supposed to. In this episode of The Glimpse Method Podcast, Megan breaks down meditation in a simple, approachable way—what it actually is, what the science says about its benefits, and how even a few minutes of practice can begin to change the way you move through the rest of your day. We talk about the difference between reacting and responding, and how meditation can help create that tiny bit of space between a thought, an emotion, and what you choose to do next. It’s a practice that connects beautifully with the ultimate destination of the Glimpse Method: equanimity. In this episode: Why meditation does NOT mean turning off your brainWhat to do when your mind wandersWhat research says about meditation, stress, anxiety, depression, and sleepHow meditation may help you become less reactive and more intentionalEasy ways to fit 3–5 minutes of meditation into an already busy dayWhy transitions—before work, after work, before picking up the kids—can be perfect opportunities to practiceThe connection between meditation and breathworkHow meditation can become a spiritual practice and create space to listen for guidanceMegan’s current one-meditation-a-day experiment on InstagramAnd you don’t just have to hear about meditation—we finish the episode with a short guided meditation you can do right where you are. You don’t need 30 minutes, a perfectly quiet house, a meditation room, or a completely still mind. You just need a few minutes to pause, notice, breathe, and practice responding instead of reacting. Follow Megan on Instagram @megsuz to follow along with her meditation-a-day experiment and find the meditations she’s trying. If this episode made you think of someone who could use a little more space and peace in their day, send it their way.

Home Girl Walk - Try for Free - Inspiration Pillar

Send us Fan Mail https://glimpselove.myflodesk.com/l0o0yo0d6q Take the challenge for a test drive!   What if you didn’t need to figure everything out today? In this special Home Girl Walk, I’m inviting you to put on your headphones, start walking, and create a little space to ask—and then listen. Whether you call it God, the Universe, your higher self, or your soul, today’s practice is simple: Show me. Guide me. Help me notice. You don’t need the entire path laid out in front of you. Sometimes you only need enough clarity for the next step. During this guided walk, we’ll move, breathe, get back into our bodies, and practice listening for those quiet whispers, nudges, ideas, and moments of knowing that can be so hard to hear when life is loud. We’ll explore: Creating space instead of forcing answersAsking for guidance and being willing to receive itTrusting when you can’t see the whole pathGetting out of your head and back into your bodyListening for the subtle nudges you may normally missLetting the next step be enoughUsing walking affirmations to strengthen trust and connectionYou don’t need a treadmill, a gym, or even beautiful weather. Walk through your kitchen, living room, basement, hallway—or wherever life happens. Just press play and start walking. Keep walking. Keep noticing. Keep trusting. And keep enhancing the human experience—one step at a time. Mentioned in this episode This walk is part of Home Girl Walk, my 28-day guided walking journey based on the seven pillars of the GLIMPSE Method. Grounding • Love & Gratitude • Inspiration • Manifestation • Play • Surrender • Equanimity Home Girl Walk - 28 Day Challenge https://glimpselove.myflodesk.com/os1fcic660

Your Sensitivity is your Superpower. Hypnotherapy and Your Subconcious with Sherris Courtier Shank

Send us Fan Mail Learn more about Sherris and her work Webinar! https://birmingham-clinical-hypnotherapy.aweb.page/unlocking-power-of-sensitivity In this episode of The GLIMPSE Method Podcast, I sit down with psychospiritual therapist, hypnotherapist, author, and fellow sensitive soul Sheris Courtier Shank for a beautiful conversation about sensitivity, boundaries, subconscious healing, spirituality, and learning to trust your own inner wisdom. Sheris works with empaths, healers, and highly sensitive people who are ready to stop simply surviving and begin seeing their sensitivity for what it can truly be—a gift. We talk about what happens when sensitive people assume everyone else feels and perceives the world the same way they do, and why that can lead to hurt, people-pleasing, overgiving, and feeling like you don’t matter. Sheris also offers a powerful perspective on boundaries: rather than seeing them as rude or confrontational, think of them as giving someone the instruction manual for how to have a healthy relationship with you. We also go deeper into Sheris’s personal story. After losing her husband and moving through profound grief and serious health challenges, her spiritual life opened in an entirely new way. Eventually, she discovered hypnotherapy—and found a way to access the subconscious patterns underneath the pain she had been carrying. In this conversation, we explore: • Why highly sensitive people often struggle with boundaries  • How to stop expecting others to feel what you feel  • The difference between setting a boundary and simply making a request  • Why knowing that you matter changes how others are able to treat you  • Sheris’s journey through grief, spirituality, and healing  • How she discovered hypnotherapy  • What actually happens during a hypnotherapy session  • Alpha, theta, and delta brainwave states and the subconscious mind  • Why healing the root wound can be more powerful than treating the symptom  • The connection between breathwork, hypnosis, and altered states of awareness  • A powerful client story about releasing decades of grief and self-judgment  • Sheris’s book, The Peace of Mind Blueprint • Why our light never truly disappears—even during our darkest seasons One of my favorite reminders from this conversation is that the parts of ourselves we’ve spent years trying to manage, hide, or change may actually contain some of our greatest gifts. Our experiences may dim our light for a while, but they don’t extinguish it. Be brave enough to look underneath the patterns. Be willing to heal. And trust that your light is still there. ✨ The Peace of Mind Blueprint by Sheris Courtier Shank is available on Amazon and through her website.

The Weekly Glimpse Guide - Love and Light rather than Judgement

Send us Fan Mail Home Girl Walk Challenge https://glimpselove.myflodesk.com/l0o0yo0d6q This week brings a small but exciting change—The Weekly GLIMPSE Guide is officially moving to Mondays! As I’ve stepped into a new position working weekends, you’ll now find your weekly soul snack at the start of each week instead of the end. Today’s message is an invitation to pause before judging. How often do we become the judge, jury, and sentencer based on a single moment we witness? We see someone’s actions, hear a story, or experience something that feels unfair, and our minds instantly create a narrative. But what if we don’t know the whole story? In this guided meditation, we’ll practice replacing judgment with compassion, choosing love over criticism, and remembering that everyone is carrying struggles we cannot see. Every time we choose understanding instead of condemnation, we brighten our own light while bringing a little more light into the world. This episode includes: An announcement about the Weekly GLIMPSE Guide’s new Monday scheduleA reflection on why quick judgments often keep us disconnectedA reminder that everyone deserves the benefit of the doubt—including ourselvesA calming reverse tri-active breath practice (two inhales through the nose, one exhale through the mouth)A heart-opening meditation focused on compassion, forgiveness, and sending love and lightA powerful breath hold to help cultivate inner strength, peace, and presenceThis week’s intention: Before judging, pause. Before assuming, breathe. Before criticizing, choose compassion. You never know how much your love and light may be needed. ✨ If this episode resonated with you, please follow, rate, and share it with someone who could use a little more compassion this week.
