    Transmission 009 - Being Human in the Pause

    Transmission 009 explores what it means to continue showing up even when the desire isn’t there. Not through force or performance. But by returning.... Returning to the body. To breath. Returning to the present moment long enough to feel what is alive within.  Some days the mind wants escape.   Some of those days, the body wants stillness. And... Some days emotion rises and falls like the waves of an ocean.  This transmission is an invitation to stop treating those moments as failure. It is an invitation to feel the resistance. To notice and feel the emotion.  And... It is an invitation to stay. Because perhaps being human was never about always feeling ready.     Transmission 008 - Aligning with Self Through Misalignment

    In this transmission, I sit with the discomfort that arises when something feels "off" inside of relationship with myself and another. For a long time, misalignment meant only one thing—that I must have done something wrong. To get away from the discomfort, I learned to blame the other.   Sometimes I turned that blame onto self.  Both reactions enabled me in leaving myself. Here, I explore what it feels like to stay. To notice the sensations in the body without rushing to fix or assign fault. To begin separating misalignment from being wrong and instead, receive it as an opportunity to bring me back to center. Through observation & stillness we practice.   While I certainly don’t have this all figured out, I’m learning a new way to be with myself and to see what wants my attention.     Transmission 007: Where Safety Returns

    In this transmission, we explore where safety can begin within the body. Not as something to force or something to get right, but as a gentle, loving return.   If it feels available, I invite you to find a place in your body where you can come back home to yourself.  Here, we begin teaching our body that it is safe to return and stay.   --- As you listen, I invite you to notice what is alive within you.     Transmission 006: In the Moment

    In this transmission, we explore what to return to when something gets stirred in you, especially in the midst of conflict. There might be a quick reaction. A tightening in the body. A pull to defend or to fix.  In those moments, the nervous system moves to protect. Not always because something is wrong, but because something feels unfamiliar. Instead of following the reaction, if it feels available, we practice returning.  Back to the body. To the breath. To the present moment.  We practice pausing, feeling, and staying, just a moment longer.  And from there, we learn to choose a different response.  --- As you listen, I invite you to notice what is alive within you.     Transmission 005: Returning to Safety Within

    In this transmission, we begin to notice what gets stirred in us through others. A reaction. A feeling. A pull to move away or make meaning. Instead of following the reaction, we practice staying. Not for perfection.   Not to try to figure out the other person, but to learn what is arising within us so we can stay in relationship with ourselves and with others.  The activation is an invitation.  To notice. To feel. To stay and choose differently.  May you find grace for yourself.... in the practice.  --- As you listen, I invite you to notice what is alive within you.     Transmission 004: Staying to Deepen

    In this transmission, we practice noticing what arises when things become clear. For some, a feeling follows. A tightening.  A pull to turn away. Instead of leaving, we continue the practice of staying, moving deeper into the sensations of the body.   The nervous system isn’t asking us to fix what we feel. It’s asking for consistency to stay in it.   To return. Again and again.  To be with what is… without becoming it. --- As you listen, I invite you to notice what is alive within you.     When you stay with what you feel, something begins to rise underneath the thoughts that become the narrative. In this transmission, we let the thoughts speak. Not to believe them. In this first transmission of Black Seed, we explore what becomes possible when we pause long enough to notice what is alive within us without immediately trying to fix, explain, or push it away. Through a simple practice, we practice observing what arises in the body, without judgment.    The reflection and practice are not about arriving at answers, but about planting seeds of awareness that can grow through honest witnessing of our own experience.
