What's a satisfyingly petty revenge story where petty behaviors backfires? Robin kicks things off by telling us about her petty plane experience. Then, Tita Lors tells us the tale of Edward Drinker Cope vs Othniel Charles Marsh, the paleontologists who collectively discovered 126 new dinosaur species. However, because of their bitter rivalry they set paleontology back for years. Even now people are correcting the mistakes these men made by focusing more on being first or better than the other rather than the actual science.  Have you seen the reel from Sensiblyshy on Instagram? https://www.instagram.com/reel/Da_QT1BBgYY/?igsh=Y2Jnd2hxYWhzdjJ3 She explains why the Trex is probably actually a dragon.. Or wyvern and we’re totally here for it. In case you’re also a spicy book reader and didn’t already know what the difference between a dragon and a wyvern was Lora breaks it down for you. Finally before we settle into our glimmers, we circle back to the question that started off the whole episode and read you a reddit story. Robin tells us about a bird called “towhee” that has been helping her to be more present. The towhee “uncovers what it's looking for under the leaves. It's completely focused and the whole universe is in its moment.” Tita Lors is just glad to be back in the recording studio with Robin again after weeks of time away. Links will be in the news letter or show notes. We want to hear from you! Tell us what the pettiest thing you’ve come across this week was. Let us know who you think should have won the petty battle. Submit your recommendations for the pettiest thing you think we should look into more and/or a contender for upcoming Petty Battles. Let’s get engaged!💍Story submissions HERE Call our Tea line (816-TEA-LINE (816-832-5463))  Pettyandunbothered@gmail.com IG: @Pettyandunbothered
