Michigan 8‑Point Buck Story | Deer Processing Tips | Faith in the Valley | In Creation #35

In Episode 35 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker shares the story of harvesting a beautiful Michigan 8-point buck this season. The hunt was one to remember, as the buck responded to a rattling sequence and answered with snort wheezes before finally stepping into range. The conversation then shifts to deer processing, where Ryker and Alex share some of their favorite tips and techniques. Ryker talks about using a torch to remove hair from the meat and keeping a bucket of water nearby to clean his hands and knife throughout the process. Alex explains why he prefers making key cuts before skinning to make removing the hide faster and more efficient. The second half of the episode focuses on keeping your faith in the valley. The guys discuss how difficult seasons often leave us questioning God's plan, yet those are the moments when our faith grows the most. Alex compares mountaintop experiences to enjoying a beautiful view, while the valleys are where fruit is produced. Drawing from Mark 14:36, Ryker reflects on Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, where He ultimately surrendered to the Father's will, even knowing the suffering that lay ahead. The guys encourage listeners to trust God through life's challenges, knowing that He often does His greatest work in the valleys. Whether you're interested in hunting stories, deer processing tips, or growing in your faith through difficult seasons, Episode 35 has something for you. #TeamQAD https://1stphorm.com/AlexSpencer https://kuhlearchery.com/ : Use Discount Code InCreation  Tales From The Timber Submissions - https://forms.gle/rHMuTNB8TFvMGX4y9

How To Deer Camp – Success, Struggles, & Broadheads | Spiritual Warfare | In Creation #34

In Episode 34 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker and Alex sit down to recap this year’s deer camp—breaking down the highs, lows, and everything in between. They revisit both the unsuccessful hunts and the successful ones, talking through what worked, what didn’t, and how they can improve camp for next year. The guys also review the performance of the broadheads they used during their harvests and share their honest thoughts on how the gear held up. After reflecting on the trip, the conversation shifts into the Word, diving into the topic of spiritual warfare. Alex walks through Matthew 13 and the parable of the Sower, explaining how Satan’s tactics show up in the story and in our lives today. Ryker brings in 1 Peter 5:8–9, describing how the devil prowls like a roaring lion seeking someone to devour. He then references Ephesians 6:10–18, unpacking how we are engaged in a battle against an unseen world and how believers are called to stand firm using the full armor of God. All in all, it was a meaningful trip—full of lessons, memories, and moments that remind the guys why they look forward to deer camp every year. #TeamQAD https://1stphorm.com/AlexSpencer https://kuhlearchery.com/ : Use Discount Code InCreation  Tales From The Timber Submissions - https://forms.gle/rHMuTNB8TFvMGX4y9

Deer Camp – Warm Weather, Doe & 8‑Point Success | Stories by the Fire | In Creation #33

In Episode 33 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker, Alex, Spencer Rivera (the third brother), and Luke Willoughby go live on YouTube from deer camp to give an update on how the week has been unfolding. Warm weather has made things tricky—mornings in the mid‑30s have been great, but afternoon temps pushing 70 degrees have slowed deer movement across the board. Even with the conditions, camp kicked off strong. Alex tagged a doe early, and Ryker punched his tag on a solid 8‑point buck just hours before the live recording. Luke and Spencer are still grinding with a day and a half left, hoping to fill a tag before camp wraps up. The guys break down each hunt, share stories from the week, and Luke tells a wild encounter he had with another hunter that adds some unexpected drama to camp. Overall, the crew is soaking up every minute—late‑night laughs, warm fires, and the tradition of being together in the woods. Pull up a chair by the fire and enjoy the stories from deer camp. #TeamQAD https://1stphorm.com/AlexSpencer https://kuhlearchery.com/ : Use Discount Code InCreation  Tales From The Timber Submissions - https://forms.gle/rHMuTNB8TFvMGX4y9

Toulou Broadheads – Jake & Trevor Anderson | Innovation, Heritage, & Faith | In Creation #32

In Episode 32 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker and Alex sit down with Jake and Trevor from Toulou Broadheads to unpack the story behind their innovative broadhead design. They share how Toulou began as a simple idea, a rough sketch, and a 3D printer—and how that grew into their single‑bevel, one‑piece broadhead with a built‑in helical that now stands out in the hunting world. Jake and Trevor walk through the early prototypes, the trial‑and‑error process, and the small breakthroughs that pushed them forward. Their journey highlights passion, persistence, and a deep love for the hunting heritage they hope to pass down to future generations. They also talk openly about how faith has shaped Toulou from day one. Acknowledging that the Creation we enjoy has a Creator, they share how God has guided their steps and given them a platform to point others to Christ through their work and their brand. This episode blends innovation, tradition, and testimony—offering hunters a behind‑the‑scenes look at Toulou Broadheads and the faith that fuels their mission. #TeamQAD https://1stphorm.com/AlexSpencer https://kuhlearchery.com/ : Use Discount Code InCreation  Tales From The Timber Submissions - https://forms.gle/rHMuTNB8TFvMGX4y9

Season Goals – Early Success & Full Confidence | God’s Final Judgment | In Creation #31

In Episode 31 of the In Creation Podcast, Ryker and Alex sit down to talk through their goals for the upcoming deer season. Ryker shares that he isn’t focused on chasing inches of antler this year. His aim is to harvest a deer early, stay mentally locked‑in, and make sure every sit puts him “in the game.” He wants to set himself up for success on each hunt and walk away with confidence—no second‑guessing his spots, no frustration, just a good attitude and intentional preparation. Alex’s goals line up similarly. He wants to take a doe early to get that “red zone rep” before bucks start moving hard in late October and early November. Most of his energy is aimed at their northern Michigan deer camp. After heavy e‑scouting, his mission is simple: be in deer every sit and finally tag a northern Michigan buck. From there, the conversation shifts to the Gospel as they discuss Final Judgment. They emphasize that God ultimately judges one thing—whether you have put your faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. Acts 17:31 says, “For he has set a day for judging the world with justice by the man he has appointed, and he proved to everyone who this is by raising him from the dead.” They talk about how easy it is to assume we have plenty of time to make that decision, but the truth is we don’t know when our final day on earth will come. The debt has already been paid through the blood of Christ on the cross, and the invitation into His kingdom is open to anyone who believes. But God does not force you—you have the choice. #TeamQAD https://1stphorm.com/AlexSpencer https://kuhlearchery.com/ : Use Discount Code InCreation  Tales From the Timber Submissions - https://forms.gle/rHMuTNB8TFvMGX4y9
