    the hand-me-down karma

    I'm usually open to receiving hand-me-downs from folks, and on the top level, it's dharma, ie, receiving a welcome gift from a loving energy with gratitude. From the giving side, though, I believe it creates karma, just from the originating over-consumption of material things. No shame, but we've all been hoodwinked to think at the top level, rather than making better decisions before over-consuming in the the first place.     Rule No. 89

    This rule resonated with me as it pertains to spiritual trespassing. Don't speak badly of others when they're not present. This is one of 114 rules of civility from the 16th century. It resonates Truth today, and I expand on it a bit further, adding to not speak of others even if good words. Either way, keep my name outta your mouth.     How you, the mouse, traps the cat and lives to tell the tail

    See what I did there? Tale of a tail, a cat's tail, that is. Once you realize that when you feel 'off', you see that is a vibe projected towards you intended to deplete every ounce of your energy for someone else's financial gain. You, the mouse, are winning the cat-and-mouse game of self-depletion. We all have the tools within us to roar back at the cat (even if we don't realize it). The cat in this game has made a large bet (perhaps, a life insurance policy) that the mouse won't win, without expecting the mouse to turn tail, trapping the spiritual trespasser in its own diabolic game. All the more reason to not FAFO. It took three anomalies this past weekend for me to better understand that we all have the tools within to defeat the energy manipulators from winning the cat and mouse game they're playing.     mama didn't raise a fool

    your nature is in nature

    I see nature as part of my life that is pure and without artifice. Nature is the one place where I can easily balance my mind, body, and spirit, given its all part of Source/Universe/Higher Power. Whatever is within me is all around me, and sometimes I have to physically place myself in nature to rebalance everything. It's not an external part of my life, it is my life.     arrogant sadist vs balanced stoic

    The weird thing about accidentally dropping my digital recorder on the tile floor is that it moved up out of my hands first before gravity kicked in. Of course, it was all me and my hands, no one else, but it got me thinking about how easily distraction energies will manipulate emotions, if I let 'em, 'cause the sadist behind that energy wants to harvest my anger for their benefit.     no booze = no bluez

    I'm sharing the revelation I had realizing that when I stopped drinking, much of the negative thoughts I had, no longer had a toe-hold on my energy. Given that I did not intentionally remove imbibing from my life, this was an unexpected thought to receive, nonetheless.     feeling joy when awake makes for joyful sleep

    I've had bouts of time in my life where my sleep felt anxious and emotionally draining, mainly because I was stressing over finances or worried about an upcoming event. Those dark energies had easy access when I was asleep, until I realized that by remaining positive while awake, provided the strength I needed to resolve those stressful moments. And, once my spiritual boundary was fortified with joy, my sleep became peaceful, and unpenetrable by all those negative projections intent on causing chaos.
