S5 - Six Months of Gether: What We Got Right (and Nearly Missed)

Six months in. Six in-person event and brunches So much in between. A clearer direction and a new brand identity to move us forward to-gether. We've laughed, shared, sat with hard questions and left with fuller hearts. But before we keep going — we want to stop. Breathe. And come back to the beginning. Why did we start Gether? What has it meant to you? And what do we want it to become? This August, we're not bringing a guest speaker or a structured agenda. We're simply making room for you, for honest conversation, and for the kind of reflection that only happens when you're finally in a room where you don't have to perform. Join us for an open, unfiltered conversation. Grounded in the real texture of a creative life. We're preparing a little activity that we can participate together too. This gathering is for creatives who are in that process or who have been through it and want to share that experience with people who truly understand. Meet our new co-host / member of Gether:Darren at @lume_sg Darren is someone we trust to help bring out the best communicator in all of us. We've known him since the days of his mobile coffee cart, and it's been inspiring to watch how far he's come. We're proud to welcome him to the Gether family and can't wait for what's ahead together. Host:Crystal Y. Creative at @slowlivecreate Known for her digital illustrations on Procreate, Crystal is stepping beyond her introverted nature to grow a creative community where people feel encouraged to connect and create. While she's recognised for her art, she's also passionate about helping fellow creatives find clarity and direction as they build their businesses. Through Gether, her vision is to create an ongoing safe space where like-minded people can be seen, heard, and supported; where dreams are nurtured into reality. Amy Tan — Founder of @Amytfleur and @heartwork.co A homegrown florist, Amy creates meaningful gifts through the timeless language of flowers. She's known not only for her beautiful floral artistry but also for her warmth, kindness, and generous spirit. Years in the floral industry have shaped her with resilience and the courage to embrace new beginnings. Whether she's teaching, mentoring, or building alongside others, Amy leads with a generosity that inspires those around her to reflect on their own purpose and the impact they hope to make. We're grateful to have her heart, wisdom, and creativity as part of the Gether community. -------------------------------------------------------------- 🎟️ EVENT DETAILS Next Gether: 7 August 2026, Friday 2-4pm Venue: Heartwork StudioProsper Industrial Building22 Lor 21A Geylang,#06-01, Singapore 388431 This is a ticketed event to: reduce last-minute cancellationssecure commitmenthonour the value of gathering intentionallyCome tired.Come honest.Come as you are.

S4Ep4: Short Term Goals vs Long Term Success

Building a business is rarely just a business problem. It touches who you are, what you thought you were building, and whether you still believe in the vision that got you started. This gathering is for creatives who are in that process or who have been through it and want to share that experience in a room with people who truly understand. --- Singapore is a city of ambition but the pressure to be stable, practical, and on a clear path can make the creative journey feel especially lonely. This gathering is a rare space to speak honestly about what it really takes to build a creative business here: the fear, the pivots, the identity shifts, and the unexpected grace that shows up along the way. Join us in conversation; open, unfiltered, and grounded in the real texture of a creative life. Meet our guests for this Gether. Two men who have built with both heart and strategy — and aren't afraid to talk about what it really takes. Jialiang Founder of @freyafilms and @sociallaunch.asiaFrom wedding films to video marketing for small businesses, Jialiang knows what it means to take a skill and expand its reach with intention. He brings a clear-eyed, strategic lens to the creative life. Darren at @lume_sg Theatric artist. Barista. Cafe owner — from a cart. Darren wears many hats and wears them well. He's passion-driven, but grounded enough to know that passion alone doesn't run a business. That balance is exactly what makes him worth listening to. Join us in-person at Gether 🗓 Wednesday, 24 June 2026⏰ 2:30–4 PM📍 Singapore Buy Tickets Here

S3Ep4: The Identity that Shapes You In Seasons

Rebuilding — A Conversation for Creative Entrepreneurs An intimate space to speak honestly about the hard parts of building a creative life and what it means to start again. This gathering is for creatives who are in that process or who have been through it and want to share that experience in a room with people who truly understand. What we'll explore: Identity beyond the business | When your life changes shape, what role do you play in the business? How do you hold onto yourself through uncertainty? The tension between stability and the leap | What it really feels like to trade a steady income for something you believe in and how to navigate that honestly.
