    Ep. 28 | Why Christian Men Must Reject the Manosphere

    Many men today have legitimate grievances. Some have been betrayed in marriage, mistreated in divorce court, separated from their children, or disadvantaged by a culture that increasingly treats masculinity as a problem. But while the manosphere may accurately diagnose some of these injustices, does it offer men a biblical solution—or does it merely deepen their fear, anger, and resentment? In Episode 28 of the Stephen Powell Podcast, Stephen explains why Christian men must reject grievance-based movements, refuse to build their lives around fear, and follow Jesus Christ—the ultimate example of true masculinity.     Ep.26 | Candace Owens and the Destructive Power of Feminism

    What does the Bible say about power, authority, contention, and the influence women exercise within the home and the broader culture? In Episode 26, I continue my series, A Biblical Case Against Candace Owens, by examining what I believe is one of the most troubling aspects of Candace’s public influence: the increasingly contentious and combative nature of her platform—and the real-world consequences that can follow. God gives women genuine power and influence. But biblical power is never autonomous. It operates under God’s authority and manifests itself through the fruit of the Spirit. In this episode, we examine the biblical picture of godly authority and contrast it with the contentious or “brawling” woman described in Proverbs. We also look at reports and examples of Candace Owens becoming a source of conflict within marriages and families, the broader question of whether modern feminism has actually made women happier, and the seriousness of directing a massive public platform against a grieving widow. We’ll also consider a larger question: What happens when influence that could be used to build, nurture, and strengthen becomes a weapon for accusation, strife, and destruction? This episode is not an argument that women should be powerless or silent.     Today I’m joined by Josh Lewis and Michael Miller from  @TheRemnantRadio  and we’re tackling a subject that I believe desperately needs more careful, biblical discernment within the charismatic church.Over the last several years, Kathryn Krick has become one of the fastest-growing voices in the charismatic world. Her videos of dramatic deliverances, healings, and supernatural manifestations have reached millions of people. And for many Christians, those displays of power become the evidence that settles the question: *God must be with her.*But is supernatural power enough to validate a minister?Josh, Michael, and I are all continuationists. We believe the gifts of the Spirit are for today. We believe God still heals, delivers, speaks, and moves supernaturally. So this conversation isn’t about dismissing everything we don’t understand as fake or demonic.
