    Matt JR Hurley (20260707)

In this deeply moving and beautifully honest episode, Peggy‑Sue is joined by Matt JR Hurley, a singer‑songwriter whose music carries a maturity, vulnerability and emotional depth far beyond his years. The son of a church pastor, Matt grew up living a nomadic life, gathering stories, experiences and reflections that now pour into his songwriting. Although he only began writing seriously in 2015, his songs feel lived‑in, soulful and profoundly human, exploring life’s highs and lows, God’s love, doubt, hope andthe moments that shape us. His debut single “Pebbles” (released through Plankton Records) was born from sudden personal loss, becoming a modern lament that captures the struggle of processing grief and reaching out to God when He feels distant. His first EP, “Raising Questions,” followed soon after, a collection of thoughtful, poetic songs that face life’s toughest moments with honesty, integrity and a quiet, steady light. Matt’s music blends folk and roots with gentle pop sensibilities, wrapped around his acoustic guitar and grounded in storytelling, earthy reflection and real experience. He has since performed across the country, both solo and as part of Beyond The Mountain, his duo with fellow songwriter April Shipton, a partnership built on hope, faith and helping people navigate the mountains they face. In this episode, Matt shares his journey, his heart, and his music, including a beautifully intimate live acoustic performance straight from the studio. If you love songs that speak to the soul, this one will stay with you.   If you would like to be a guest on my show, or have a track that you would like to submit to be played on the airwaves, visit https://www.dstmrs.com Don't Stop the Music was recorded live at Swindon 105.5 Studios. Dulcet Tones (20260609)

Turn it up — because in this episode, Peggy‑Sue is joined by Andy and Nick, from the brilliant Dulcet Tones, a band of long‑time friends and rock ’n’ roll lifers whose love for loud guitars and timeless melodies refuses to fade. Veterans of countless scenes and stages, they’ve reunited to write and play music that pays tribute to the sounds that shaped them. You’ll hear echoes of The Rolling Stones and Creedence Clearwater Revival, all laced with the rough‑edged, melodic punk spirit of Hanoi Rocks. Their debut recording Hey Now! has already been turning heads amongst those in the know — and they’re just getting started. Tracks like Dream Home, Hold On, and Back to Bassett dive into love, loss, grit, and what it means to still live for the music after all these years. Wiltshire Hope & Harmony Charity (20260526)

In this heart‑warming episode, Peggy‑Sue is joined by the inspiring team from Wiltshire Hope & Harmony Charity, the organisation behind Wiltshire’s beautiful and transformative Dementia Choirs. These choirs are more than music — they’re safe, supportive, joy‑filled spaces where people living with Dementia, along with their families and carers, can come together and reconnect through singing. Every session is crafted with compassion, positivity and a deep belief that everyone deserves the chance to find their voice. The charity’s founding member, Lisa Williams, discovered the life‑changing impact of music therapy during her master’s training in 2018 with the visionary Aphasia Choir at UWE. Determined to bring that same magic to her local community, she set out to create a choir of her own. Despite the delays of the pandemic, her dream became reality in 2023 with the launch of the Royal Wootton Bassett Dementia Choir & Café. Since then, the choir has supported hundreds of people, meeting weekly at St Bartholomew’s Church Hall or heading “on tour” to care homes, community venues and churches across Wiltshire — spreading harmony, hope and connection wherever they go. This episode celebrates their journey, their mission, and the extraordinary power of music to bring light into people’s lives.   If you would like to be a guest on my show, or have a track that you would like to submit to be played on the airwaves, visit https://www.dstmrs.com Don't Stop the Music was recorded live at Swindon 105.5 Studios.
