1 Thessalonians Chapter 4 - When God Calls You to a Life That Pleases Him

Send us Fan Mail Today we are studying 1 Thessalonians Chapter 4. In this chapter, Paul encourages believers to live in a way that pleases God through holiness, love, and hope. He calls them to grow in their walk, to pursue purity, to love one another deeply, and to live with an eternal perspective. He also gives one of the clearest teachings about the return of Christ. In 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17, he writes, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout… and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are still alive… will be caught up together with them… and so we will always be with the Lord.” This chapter reminds us that how we live today matters, and that our future with Christ is secure. 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1 - When Your Faith Starts Showing

Send us Fan Mail Today we are studying 1 Thessalonians Chapter 1. In this chapter, Paul opens his letter by encouraging the believers in Thessalonica for their genuine faith and the evidence of transformation in their lives. He highlights their “work of faith, labor of love, and endurance of hope” (1 Thessalonians 1:3), showing that true belief produces visible change. He also reminds them that the gospel did not come to them in word only, but in power, in the Holy Spirit, and with full assurance. Their lives became an example to others, as they turned from idols to serve the living and true God and to wait for His Son from heaven. This chapter reminds us that real faith is not hidden—it is lived out, seen, and shared. Support the show We’re so grateful you chose to spend this time with us in God’s Word today. Colossians Chapter 3 - When God Calls You to Set Your Mind Higher

Send us Fan Mail Today we are studying Colossians Chapter 3. In this chapter, Paul calls believers to shift their focus from earthly things to heavenly realities and to live out their new identity in Christ. He writes in Colossians 3:1–2, “So if you have been raised with the Messiah, seek what is above, where the Messiah is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth.” He goes on to describe the transformation that takes place when we put off the old self and put on the new: “Therefore, put to death what belongs to your worldly nature… But now you must also put away all the following: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and filthy language from your mouth” (Colossians 3:5, 8). This chapter reminds us that following Christ is not just about belief—it is about transformation, identity, and daily living. Colossians Chapter 1 - When Jesus Needs to Be First Again
