    From Revelation to Creation — The End of Scripture Points Us Toward Its Beginning

    Send us Fan Mail We have reached the end of the New Testament, but the end of Scripture points us back toward the beginning. Revelation closes with the tree of life, the removal of the curse, God dwelling with His people, and creation restored. Genesis begins with the creation of the heavens and the earth, humanity made in God’s image, and life in God’s presence. In this special transition period, we look at the remarkable connection between Genesis and Revelation, reflect on what we have learned through our journey across the New Testament, and prepare for the next chapter of Giving God PRAISE. Beginning January 1, 2027, we will return to Genesis and begin walking through the Old Testament one chapter at a time.     Revelation Chapter 22 – When You Need to Remember That Jesus Is Coming Soon

    Send us Fan Mail Today we come to Revelation Chapter 22, the final chapter of the Bible. After the judgment of evil and the vision of the New Jerusalem in Chapter 21, John is shown the completion of God’s redemptive story. He sees the river of the water of life flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. On either side stands the tree of life, bearing fruit and bringing healing to the nations. The imagery reaches back to Genesis, where humanity lost access to the tree of life after sin entered the world, and it also echoes Ezekiel’s vision of life-giving water flowing from God’s sanctuary. Revelation shows us the final reversal of the curse. There will no longer be any curse. God’s servants will worship Him, they will see His face, and His name will be on their foreheads.     Revelation Chapter 17 – When You Need to See Through the World’s False Glory

    Revelation Chapter 16 – When You Need to Stay Faithful as Judgment Draws Near

John sees the seven bowls of God’s wrath poured out upon the earth, completing the series introduced in the previous chapter. The imagery deliberately echoes the plagues of Exodus: sores, water becoming blood, darkness, and other judgments recall God’s confrontation with Pharaoh and Egypt. For John’s original readers, that connection would have been significant.
