Redefining the SWAT Tactical Shooter with Sean Gorman and Mark Ranson of Void Interactive

What does it take to revitalize a dying genre? In this episode of Growing Pains, I sit down with Sean Gorman and Mark Ranson, Lead Designer and Art Director for Void Interactive's SWAT Tactical Shooter - Ready or Not. Together we explore Void's journey, going from its indie roots to the global studio it is today. It was clear that from the start, Void had something speical going on, with thier passion for the tactical shooter genre and willingness to work globally and differently. The studio has a unique setup and I really believe it adds an extra layer in understanding the success and growth of Ready or Not.  The game is known for its realistic approach to the SWAT tactical shooter space. Sean and Mark were able to shine a light on exactly why they designed the game in that way; highlighting the experiences that they themselves hoped to find in a game like this. Be sure to check out the conversation and if you haven't already check out the game and its new Boiling Point DLC.  Growing Pains is a series focusing on key business trends and people shaping the Global Games Market and their impact on the Games Industry.
