I’m so grateful Taylor and Jacob took the leap to build this podcast. I can only imagine how much intention goes into carving out time after work and in the middle of everyday life to sit down together, be vulnerable, and thoughtfully consider the words and message they’re sharing with us.
Obviously, they don’t know us personally, but through what they choose to share, we’ve gotten to know so much about them. There’s something really comforting about getting to root for a couple while also feeling like, in a way, they’re rooting for us too.
I think what touches me most is their transparency. They aren’t embarrassed to talk about the nitty-gritty, messy, uncomfortable parts of relationships and life. They use those things as an opportunity to connect, and that has genuinely made a difference for me.
Their conversations have actually started some really meaningful conversations between my partner and me. Hearing Taylor and Jacob talk through similar thoughts, struggles, questions, and different avenues of healing has made some of those conversations feel a little less daunting for us.
It’s even given us more things to talk about on date nights! Sometimes you get to the point where you feel like you’ve talked about everything, and their episodes have given us new questions to explore together. Things like, “What do you think about a wife submitting?” or “Have I been an honoring partner?” Their episode on finances gave us such a good starting point for conversations we might not have naturally thought to have.
And Taylor, I have to say, I absolutely love your vivacious energy. You’re so authentically yourself, outspoken, warm, and unapologetically you. It’s genuinely so cute and lovely to watch.
I just really love getting to share this part of life with you guys at the same time as you’re sharing your lives with us. I’m rooting for you both, and I’m so grateful for the way you’re encouraging and rooting for others too.
Love you guys. 🤍
