Golf and Gospel Podcast

Geremy Davis

Golf and Gospel is a podcast that bridges the game of golf with real conversations about faith, purpose, and life beyond the scorecard. Hosted by Geremy Davis and co-host Nate Wong, each episode dives into weekly professional golf storylines from tours like the PGA and LPGA while also exploring deeper spiritual themes centered on Jesus Christ. Through match breakdowns, tournament recaps, player insights, and honest dialogue with special guests, Golf and Gospel highlights not just what’s happening in the game—but what’s happening in the hearts and lives of those who play it. The mission is to create a space where golf is the platform, but the gospel is the foundation. Whether you’re a golfer, a fan of the game, or someone seeking encouragement in your faith journey, this podcast is designed to inspire, challenge, and point you toward something greater than the game itself.

Shiho Kuwaki SHOCKS the LPGA + Thorbjornsen’s First PGA Win

Nate and Geremy break down a wild week in golf: Shiho Kuwaki shocks the world to win her first LPGA major at the AIG Women’s British Open, while Michael Thorbjornsen picks up his first PGA Tour win. But there’s still one more shot at redemption — the Wyndham Championship — before the FedEx Cup Playoffs lock in, and several players are on the outside looking in needing a big finish to make the cut. We also dive into the Presidents Cup buzz and debate whether Jackson Koivun should be a captain’s pick. Plus, a special guest joins the show — LPGA Professional Nicole Felce — to talk about her experience at the KPMG Women’s PGA at Hazeltine, the path to becoming a PGA/LPGA professional, and how God has directed her steps in pursuing her dream as a tour pro. And to close it out, Nate and Geremy talk about what it really means to serve others and be ambassadors for Christ — on and off the course. 🎧 New episode every week. Chris Gotterup’s THIRD Win of 2026 — Is He Player of the Year Now? + Players to Watch at Evian

Another week of great golf, and another opportunity to talk about it! What a finish at the John Deere Classic — Chris Gotterup picked up his third PGA Tour win of the year, tying Matt Fitzpatrick for most wins on tour. But what does this mean for Player of the Year? We also talk about Padraig Harrington, who just won back-to-back U.S. Senior Opens. Then we preview the Genesis Scottish Open — a co-sanctioned event, so expect to see some LIV golfers in the field. We also discuss how important it is for Scottie Scheffler to get a win soon. After that, we get into the LPGA and the fourth major of the year, the Evian Championship. We preview the field and predict who we think has the best shot to win. And lastly, for the Gospel portion, we talk about how Scottie Scheffler may feel working so hard to chase the career Grand Slam — and what happens if God says no. Scheffler’s Grand Slam, Cauley’s Breakthrough & Two LPGA Women Make History

We’re back! Nate joins me mid-episode this week as I kick things off solo while he makes his way in — but don’t worry, we’ve got a full slate to get through before the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills. First up, we recap the Dow Championship — and what a breakthrough story it was. Gina Kim and Yana Wilson combined for a 17-under 263 at Midland Country Club, closing with an 8-under 62 in best-ball play to win by two strokes  — and it was the first LPGA Tour title for both players. They’re also the lone first-time winners this season on the LPGA Tour — the longest a season has gone without a first-time winner since 2017.  Two young Americans, Epson Tour products, stepping up on Sunday. We break it all down. Then we head over to the RBC Canadian Open at TPC Toronto, where Bud Cauley finally broke through — pulling away from a crowded leaderboard for his first PGA Tour title in his 239th career start.  Cauley suffered five broken ribs, a broken left leg, and a collapsed lung in a car crash back in 2018, with his return to professional golf not coming until 2024.  This was more than a win — this was a comeback story worth celebrating. We also talk about Nelly Korda and the face of the LPGA — yes, she’s the name everyone knows, but she’s not the only dominant player on Tour right now. We break down who else is making a serious case and match them up with their male counterparts on the PGA Tour. Then we get into LIV 2.0 — is a revamped LIV Golf actually happening, or is this just noise designed to keep players and fans from losing hope? We give you our honest take. And we close out the way we always do — with the Gospel. This week: Who is Christ, and who is His salvation meant for? If you’ve ever wondered whether the Gospel is really for you, don’t skip this part. ⛳ New episodes every week. Subscribe so you don’t miss the U.S. Open breakdown coming up!
